About This Interactive
|
The owner of this Interactive Story begins with this information and guidance: You are entering the world of federal civil service. A world that used to be more predictably tidy with rules and protocols. Enter the wild west, pirate decade of 2000 and a questionably functioning U.S. government. Help develop a story that is a collection of stories about U.S. Government employees trying to do their jobs and survive in an increasingly convoluted and dangerous work environment.
In this Interactive, you are a federal employee who finds him or herself surrounded by political intrigue, pressure to conform to the wishes of upper managers in ways that do not necessarily enhance your ability to do the job you were hired to do. You see civil service disintegrating around you and are struggling to survive. What is happening to you and why? What are the patterns of corruption and greed and the connections between people in that world? That is the question isn't it? Create a fictional character and unfold their story in this WDC Interactive.
This Interactive story is a purposefully light-hearted attempt to allow for some humor in an area often dreadfully serious. There is room for some reality in the fantasy. Enjoy, have fun reading and writing and remember sometimes "Truth IS stranger than fiction!"
