Dave gazes into the beautiful harpy girl's eyes, so very close to his own do to her proximity and the fact that she is hugging him around his neck. After Ms. Rivera's titillating display, he's still in a state of sexual of arousal, and having Tira's soft arm feathers tickling his neck and her sweet fragrance wafting into his nostrils isn't helping the situation any. Tira smiles, liking this boy more and more for just how sweet and kind he is. Continuing to hug him, she pivots her hips a bit and sits down across the very edge of Dave's lap, brushing her nose against his own. "You don't have to ask me anything. I'm telling you, I'm going to do you a favor." she says, still speaking gently but having a unwavering firmness in her voice. She isn't going to take no for an answer. Though generally shy and not very overt, much less suggestive, Tira wants to really drive the point home, and runs a clawed talon gently down his back and gives him a soft squeeze on the butt. This really makes her blush, she's never done anything like this before, but she doesn't blush nearly as deeply as he does.

Being equally shy and quiet as Tira, if not more so, Dave can't believe this is happening to him. Pardon the pun, but he's a geeky bookworm, and even though this harpy seems to be one as well, never would he in his wildest dreams have imagined that coming to the defense of a cute girl in dire predatory peril would have led to such a proposition. She's actually coming onto him, she couldn't actually be encouraging him to request of her something sexual, could she? No, he would never take advantage of the situation like that, he's just not that kind of guy. He earnestly is a sweet, kind, and caring person, and would probably be a shy, timid, somewhat cowardly young adolescent even if the world wasn't filled with monsters that wanted to eat him. Looking into her beautiful green eyes, sparkling at him like emeralds, he knows that she isn't going to let it go, so he decides to request something simple and easy to do. "Okay, I suppose if you insist on doing me a favor, then I guess it would be nice if you'd sit with me at lunch for the next few weeks." he tells her, giving her a shy smile. "I mean, I sit all alone at the far end of school so I won't be a tantalizing meal for any hungry monster, and it can get pretty lonely."

Tira can't believe that he would make such a simple request, but then, it would give her a chance to get to know him better, and who knows, maybe they might even get involved in a romantic relationship. Blushing heavily, she is a romantic at heart, but at the same time, she has already made up her mind that she wants to be with this sweet, kind boy, and she thinks that he's pretty cute too. She's torn between accepting his request or deciding his reward for him.
