Ed was bored out of his mind. There hadn't been anything about the Philosopher's Stone in weeks. Now he mostly slept the days away, occasionally purposely getting into an argument with Winry (whose house he was staying at) to pass the time. And almost every day he'd recieve a call from Mustang who would make short jokes one after the other. "Hmph! Sometimes I just wish I could punch that asshole in the face." He said kicking some dirt. Sometimes he wished he could just smash the Colonal underfoot. "That'd show him" Ed said chuckling.

Ed sat down on the couch and kicked his boots off, propping his barefeet up on the table. (For he never wore socks) Winry happened to pass by and noticed a sour smell. "Eww whats that smell!?" she said pinching her nose. Ed grinned at her, "My feet" Ed said wiggling his toes wafting the scent over to her. Winry could puke it was so bad. "Brother you know what happens when you don't take off your boots for a long time." Alphonse lectured. Ed scowled, "What are you complaining about, you can't even smell!"
"Well sometimes that can be a good thing" Alphonse said noticing how Winry's face was turning a greenish color.

Ed looked at his feet, which made an audible squelching noise as he rubbed his toes together. They were very sweaty. Ed soon fell asleep and had the most peculiar dream.
