Upon clicking on the link “Bring on the challenge”, you suddenly find yourself no longer at your computer but standing in a long hallway. In front of you in attractive blond woman dressed in Norse warrior attire.
“Greetings mortal,” She tells you. “I am the Valkyrie Alanna.”
You blink in surprise. “How did I get here?”
She smiles. “You prayed to worship the Goddess Sif’s feet and the Asgardian Gods have heard it. It amused them so much that they have sent me to see to it that your prayers are fulfilled.”
You can’t believe this is happening. “Really?” you ask her.
She nods.
You smile excited. “This is so cool,” You say.
The Valkyrie laughs. “It certainly appears that way,” She responds cryptically. She gently takes your hand. “Come with me.”
You follow her to a dark chamber surrounded by stone walls. In front of you are three female figures sitting in front of a giant loom…a young girl, a beautiful woman and an elderly lady.
“This is the hall of fate,” Alanna tells you whispering slightly. “In front of you are the Norn. They weave the fate of all things. They have been expecting you”
You look at them intimidated. The atmosphere in the room feels like you are about to come face to face with your own destiny.
Alanna touches your shoulder. “I’m afraid this is where we must part ways” She tells you. “I will leave you in their care now brave one.”
You nod thanking her for her help.
She smiles wryly. “Perhaps next time you’ll choose the feet of a Valkyrie to worship.” She says winking at you before closing the door behind her and leaving you in the chamber.
The middle Norn is the one to address you first.
“You wish to meet Sif…do you not?”
You nod. “Yes.”
The woman smiles. “Come forward.”
You walk towards them.
“In order for you to do that you’ll need to pick a destiny that crosses with hers.”
The young girl Norn extends two threads toward. “Each thread is destiny waiting to unfold.” She explains. “We have selected two paths that align with your fantasies.”
You stare at the thread examining them closely. One is blue while the other is white.
“The blue thread represents a warrior destined to face against Sif in battle while the white is that of a mortal she will come across during her journeys.” The Girl continues. “As soon as you touch a thread you will take on the role of that person.”
You stretch out your hand considering what to do.
The Eldest Norn stops her weaving looks at you somberly “Be warned the fates are not to be taken lightly” She tells you. “Choose your next option carefully.”
You nod gravely weighing each of your options carefully.
What do you decide to do?
