You've been enrolled in Xavier's school for the gifted for the past few months. As a mutant with powerful psychic abilities, Professor Xavier assigned Jean Grey to tutor you privately in developing your powers. You're happy having her as an instructor. Jean is very friendly and she's a kind and understanding (albeit demanding) teacher. Plus she's very pretty. Though you do your best to hide it, you've developed a slight crush on her.

Today Jean is training you to shield your thoughts from another telepath. You're not having much luck. Shielding your mind takes a lot of concentration and that isn't something you are able to muster at the moment. To help you practice this technique, Jean gives you an exercise where you think of a number and use your powers to prevent her from reading your mind to find out what it is.
Your first attempt is unsuccessful. You think of a number and signal to Jean that you are ready. A second later, Jean uses her powers to figure out your number is 7. You grimace as your teacher guesses correctly.
"You're not concentrating hard enough," Jean explains. "I can read your mind like an open book. Let's try it again"
"Ok." You say getting ready. "Go!"
"5," Jean Grey says smiling.
Nuts you think quickly thinking of another number. "Ok one more time."
"102," Jean says yawning playfully.
"Rats," you say mustering your concentration and thinking of a new number."Ok rea-"
"17," Jean tells you.
Damn it!! You think.
After another 10 unsuccessful tries, you become really frustrated.
"This is just too hard for me." You say angrily.
Jean sighs, "Let's take a break for a while."

Both of you sit down on a bench and Jean offers you a bottle of water. She squeezes your shoulder affectionately and tells you to relax.
"Don't be too upset." She tells you. "Shielding your mind is a high level telepathic technique. I didn't expect you to get it right away."
You manage to give her a weak smile. "I'm sorry," You say. "I keep trying to block off my mind but my concentration keeps lapsing."
"I noticed," Jean tells you. "It's like you're distracted about something. I don't need to be a telepath to know that there is something else on your mind. What is it?"
"Nothing," You say shrugging. The truth is that you can't help thinking about how beautiful your red-haired instructor is and how you wish she was your girlfriend.

Jean blushes a little and covers her mouth.
Your heart begins to beat really fast as a sudden fear occurs to you. Did your teacher just read your mind? Does she know about your crush? Jean is too good at shielding her thoughts for you to use your powers to find out. There's only way to find out for sure.
You gulp as you look at her. "Jean, did you read my mind just now?" You ask her.
Jean looks at you apolegetically; a giveaway sign that she definitely read your mind. "I'm sorry," she says. "I didn't mean to invade your personal thoughts but I was worried about you."
Your face turns red with embarassment and you get up to walk away but Jean leans in and gives you a kiss on the cheek. "It's ok." She tells you. "I'm actually very flattered by your crush."
"Really?" You say.
She nods. "Sure you're a cute guy."
You smile feeling a little better from Jean's compliment. However, at the same you're now extremely nervous about being around your telepathic teacher. If Jean found out about your crush, it's only a matter of time until she finds out about your foot fetish and your secret desire to...
