"UNIBEAM ACTIVATED." Your unibeam activates, tearing through the liquid metal binding you and blasting Polaris into a nearby building.

Not exactly what you intended but it looks like it did the trick. "Well, now that that's taken care of, I better report back to Iron Man..." You are about to activate your communicator when you glance over to the villainess’ prone body a couple of yards away. She isn’t moving. You reconsider. "Maybe I should check if Polaris is ok first? I mean she is evil, I guess, but she didn't really do anything."

"Hmm..." You walk over to Polaris to examine her. To your relief she is breathing. You look at her unconscious form. Her face looks really beautiful. "She's too cute to take into custody." You find yourself murmuring. As you see her sleeping peacefully another thought enters your mind; one that isn’t really appropriate for a superhero (even one in training) to be having. You scratch your chin considering it. “Should I... no, she might wake up if I tried that..."

"Tried what?"

You turn to see your enemy fully awake. With a wave of her hand she uses her powers to lock you into place. Her penetrating green eyes look at you questioningly. "Answer me!"

“Um…” You pause hesitant to tell her the truth.

She closes her fingers a little crushing the armor around your neck.

"ARMOR STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY FAILING."

"I was *cough* thinking of taking your boots off."

For a second she looks a little bit surprised but then she smirks. Lowering her arm she releases her grip on you.

"*cough, cough*" You rub your neck.

"Hmm... come with me and I won’t finish you off."
