About This Interactive
The owner of this Interactive Story begins with this information and guidance:
The Wilson family has moved into the new Indian Run housing development. Little did they know that the land was originally a Native American burial ground. Recently some woods and a few farms were cleared away to make room for the new development.

As a celebration of their new home, the Wilson family decides to have a barbecue on their back patio. As they are grilling up some steaks, hot dogs, and hamburgers, a ghostly spirit appears in the smoke. It appears to be an Indian chief.

"You have angered the spirits by disturbing the souls of those buried here, and you have driven many animals from their homes and to their death."

"Do you stop to think of where your milk comes from, or how the fields get plowed so the crops can grow? Do you know where the wool for your sweaters or the meat that you eat comes from? No, you don't appreciate what goes into all these items. Animals have provided you with such pleasures, but you did not raise and care for these animals. You only enjoy the benefits of their hard work and sacrifice. Perhaps all of you need to spend some time and learn what these animals go through. Maybe once you have been sheared, given milk, pulled a plow, or provided someone with companionship, you will have a greater respect for these animals"

With that the spirit blows a powder over all the family members.

"Each of you will randomly transform into different animals that serve or provide for humans and you will remain in that form until you have fulfilled their purpose. Perhaps this way each of you can learn the roles that each animal serves" Then the spirit disappears.

The family is shocked by the apparition and the supposed curse, but they continue to eat their meal. After dinner everyone washes up and prepares for bed. By the following morning they all had forgotten about the curse placed upon them.
