His home was in a very large open field. He had just come from the village nearest to his home. It was a small place, but there was always at least one traveling merchant in the market place for him to sell is pelts and such things he'd might find in the woods that were of no use to him. He usually traveled to town about twice a week. David set down his things on the living room and changed for bed. As he did this, he thought about what had happened in the town when he ate at the tavern.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------
David ate at a table in a tavern. There were very few people in the tavern a that moment and David was glad, because he wasn't fond of big crowds. It still wasn't nightfall and the rowdy usuals the tavern might have had weren't out yet. David still had his sword if anything were to be started up by some drunk bastard, but David knew that it would turn out find as he ate his dinner.
David usually kept to himself in public places and didn't listen to others conversations, but there were two people's voices that caught his ears attention. "I'm telling you, I saw that demon in the woods again!" a very loud voice said.
David moved his eyes in the direction and saw two men at a table. The one who had said it was an older man, well older of the two because he was only in his late forties. The man had a long beard and messy hair. He wore tattered clothing. David knew this was the hermit that lived in the woods. He had never encountered him the the woods, but would see him sometimes at the tavern when he came. The village believed the hermit to be crazy.
The other man was the captain of the guard and David knew him to be a good man. The Captain's name was Alexander, a just and brave man in his late thirties. It was another guard, the Captain's younger brother, people had to worry about. Alexander's brother was a corrupt guard.
"Christopher, we've already gone over this countless times," Alexander said in a calm voice, trying to assure the hermit that there was no monster.
"But I'm telling you that there is a demon out there, and the demoness is a giant. The monster's easily eighty feet tall. We're all in danger!" Christopher, the hermit argued.
"We've combed the woods many time. We have not found a demoness out there. Especially not a giant one," Alexander continued to assure the upset man, "If there was a demoness, don't you think it would ave attacked the village by now. You remember what kind of things the first one had done. If there was a demoness, people would have been disappearing and being eaten by now."
"But..." Christopher tried to argue.
"I know what that first monster did to your family and why you live alone in the woods, but you have to let go. Bowhan had killed it thirteen years ago and there is not another one out there. The grief in your mind is causing you to see things an believe it is still alive. Please, Christopher, let us help you," Alexander pleaded.
Christopher jumped out of his chair, causing it to be knocked backwards. "I know what I saw! I know what monsters live in those woods. If you don't believe me, you could go to Hell for all I care!" The hermit stormed out of the tavern with that said.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------
David had only been five when the giant demon had been killed, but he had heard about it and remembered his parents' fears as well. "There can't be another demon out there, could there?" David wondered, "I've been in the wood and never seen a sign of it ever before. But I've also never been in the hermit's territory. What if there is a demoness?"
"No there couldn't be. The demoness would have done something by now," David concluded before falling asleep.

The succubus walked back into her cave with yet another disappointing day. She was saddened by her day. Her head looked down to the ground, her shoulders were slumped, and her tail dragged on the ground as she walked in a sulking manner. She couldn't believe how unlucky she was. Another human had run from her again, believing she was nothing more than a monster. She had seen the human before, a hermit in the woods, and he always feared her. He would never give her a chance to explain she wasn't evil, he would just run. "Why doesn't he believe me. I've encountered him many times, and I never chase or harm him. Shouldn't he realize that by now?" the succubus thought.
Unfortunately, she had the body of a giant demoness and people automatically believed she was evil just by how she looked. It's understandable that people would be afraid of her. It's safe to assume meeting a giant demon was bad news, especially if it seemed to come from Felarya. However, this succubus was never raised to be evil like the other demons. Instead she was alone and lonely. She only wanted a friend, someone to care about her. She knew that she was part human and that made her see humans were people and should be treated equally. Unfortunately, she never had the chance to explain this to humans.
The succubus dropped to her knees and laid down on her bed. She hoped that her dreams would bring her to a happier place. She hoped that she would meet the human in her dreams again. "David may only be a dream, but he's the only person something like me could ever befriend," the succubus thought as she closed her eyes. She still had no idea that David wasn't just a figment of her imagination.
--------------------------------------------------------
The succubus dreamed about herself in her cave as usual. She looked human in her dreams, like the other night. She was kneeling with her butt sitting upon the back of her ankles. She waited and stared at the entrance with hopes that David would come back again. Her hopeful face lite up when she saw David who had once again entered her dreams.
"David!" She yelled as she jumped to her feet and rushed to him. David was nearly knocked over when she collided into him and wrapped her arms around him. The woman hugged tightly and rested her head on his shoulder.
David was surprised to see the woman of his dreams again and it was a little shocking to have her rush at him. It wasn't ever night a completely naked and stunningly beautiful woman ran to him. David hugged back. He swore it felt real. The breasts pressed against his chest, her smooth skinned back beneath his hands, and the head that rested upon his shoulder all felt so real.
"Please don't ever leave me. I need you," the woman pleaded.
"This dream woman really is lonely," David realized. "Okay, I won't leave you," David tried to assure the woman.
"Will you be my friend?" the woman asked.
"Of course," David agreed. Where will this story go next? Your choices are below...
