  Chapter 33: David's Real!!   (ID #940713)
an addition by: Bruce Lee Gifford Jr.  More by this author

As Morgana took to the skies, she realized that the winds and rain weren't bad at all. She was having very minimal troubles maneuvering as she gained altitude over the tree tops. Once she reached about fifty feet above the tops of the trees, she leveled out. There was no need to go any higher then that, in case the storm should suddenly pick up. Besides, if there were any humans about in the forest, which was highly unlikely because it was nighttime during a storm, the rain and the night sky would conceal her enough. She knew from experience that humans had very bad eyesight in the dark, but her eyesight was just as good at night as it was during the daylight. Morgana had excellent vision. How else would she be able to see humans in great detail when they were only five and a half inches compared to her?

As Morgana flew above the trees, she scanned the forest below. There were very few critters out and about. Even the animals that seemed to like the night were hiding. It seemed they had a long enough time to seek shelter. As she examined more closely, it seemed as though the storm had been more destructive before she had come out of her cave. "The storm must have been stronger while I was asleep, but now it seems to be dying down," Morgana realized, "No wonder the rain doesn't sting my skin tonight." Normally when she flew through storms, the rain pelted her relentlessly and it stung due to her flying through it so fast. That night, however, the drops were gentle against her naked skin. It felt good and relaxing. Morgana rolled over while flying and for a brief moment, she felt the drops fall onto her front before she twirled back to her normal flying pattern.

"Is this a sign?" Morgana wondered, "Does this mean David is real and we were meant to meet tonight?"

Morgana interrupted her own hopes and muttered, "Stop thinking that. I know there is a chance that David could be real and I know I really hope he is, but I mustn't work myself up. If it turns out that he isn't real, I could become devastated." Morgana knew what it felt like to give herself too much hope only to have it dashed all away. She didn't want that to happen that night. She didn't want to devastate herself.

Eventually, Morgana could see the edge of the forest where the open field was. By this time, the rain had actually stopped. Her eyes darted and scanned the open field and they soon found a small house in the open field all by itself. It was a good two hundred feet away from the forest edge in case a tree should fall. Trees in that forest tend to grow over one hundred feet tall. It's what made the forest a good place for Morgana to hide. Upon seeing the house, hope grew stronger in the heart of the young eighty foot tall succubus. "Is what I'm seeing real? Am I imagining this?" she thought.

Morgana hovered in the middle of the air and slowly lowered herself to the ground at the edge of the forest. She landed as quietly as she could by landing on her toes first. Her toes sunk deep into the mud, but she didn't mind. She had been barefoot her entire life, and was used to mud. Besides, she was more focused on the house and who could be living in it. She lowered her heels next, completing the footprint as she folded her wings on her back. She took a step forward and softened it as best as she could. She was large compared to humans and she knew that if she wasn't careful, she could alert humans of her presence by just walking. She may have been slim, but she was a giantess and there was a lot of weight with those foot falls!

Morgana continued to approach the home. When she got closer, she decided that it might be best to crawl. She slowly crouched till she was practically sitting on the back of her heels. She then set her hands in the mud and lowered her knees. She crawled on her hands and knees from then on. With every crawl, Morgana's heart pounded harder in her chest, distributing her excitement through her body. She had to will herself to breathe normally and not go so fast, because she was anxious to see who was in the house.

She eventually made it to a window and she lowered her head and chest to the ground. Her large Felaryan breasts made indentions in the mud as she leveled her dark blue eye with the window. On the other side of the window was a small bedroom. Morgana's eye skimmed across till it fell onto the sight of a bed and a young man sleeping in it. Morgana only needed a quick glace to realize who it was.

"David!" Morgana yelped with joy in her brain. It took all of her will and control to keep herself from yelling out his name and giving into her excitement, happiness, and relief. She wanted to do so much more, but she controlled herself and just stared at the sleeping David on the other side of the window. How did a human she had never met before enter her dreams? She knew she had many different powers and most of them hadn't been discovered by her, there was no one to teach her, after all. "Maybe I have the ability to pull people into my dreams," Morgana suggested, "I was so lonely and desperate for a friend that I pulled David in my dreams without realizing it."

Morgana was so glad to see David. "David's not just a dream!" Morgana told herself, "David's real. I have a real friend!" Morgana cried silently with great joy warming her body. "Maybe I can tell him I'm real and we can decide a place to meet. Then we could meet properly and..." Morgana was eager to make plans, but she was too excited and eager to realize one important thing. She stopped her thoughts and argued, "Wait! If I tell David the truth and if I tell him what I really am, he'll be terrified. If we met for real, he'll think I'm just some evil monster. David has been kind and caring so far, but it's only because he thinks I'm a dream and human. He wouldn't be my friend if he knew I am a demon. Who could be friends with a monster like me?"

Morgana's silent tears of joy were quickly being replaced with silent tears of sorrow. "Even if there is a chance David might like me the way I am, can I risk it all? I don't want to lose him. I don't want him to abandon me. I'd be alone forever. I can't risk it. David's the only thing good in my life. I can't lose it. We must never met in the flesh. he must never know the truth," Morgana decided. Morgana turned around, making sure not to kick David's home. She crawled far away before standing up and flying away back to her cave. However, she had left her muddy footprints behind.

When David wakes up...
