"Well, you see, Robert," Amanda began. When the gun exploded, the energy from the gun..." She stopped for a moment. Let's see. How can I explain this? Um. I think I somehow absorbed the gun's energy."

"What do you mean?" Robert asked.

"Well," Amanda continued. "Jess had me pinned to the ground a few moments ago. She was trying to choke me. And as I was about to black out, I imagined myself becoming this big. Then, all of a sudden, I started growing. It's like, whatever size I want to make myself, I immediately become."

"But, if that's true," Robert replied. "Couldn't it be possible that both myself and Jess received an equal amount of the energy, too, since all three of us were pretty close to each other when the gun went off?"

"I never really thought about that," Amanda said. "Why don't we find out? Stand up." Robert got to his feet and noticed that, in his reduced state, the top of his head came up only mid-thigh to his giant sister. In fact, staring ahead at Amanda's giant quadricep muscle, he saw that the muscle alone was thicker than his entire body at this point.

"Just close your eyes and concentrate," Amanda offered. Robert did as he was told, imagining himself becoming as big as his sister. Just then, he felt his hand getting warmer and looked down to see that it was glowing.

Suddenly, the light shot out of his hand and struck Robert's midsection. He began growing immediately, eventually becoming the same size as his sister, although his muscles were slightly larger than hers.

"Well, that was cool," Robert said afterward. "So, what do you want to do now?"
