Amanda seeing what happened to Caroline decided that she didn't want to get that big quite yet. Don't get me wrong Amanda was in awe of Caroline's new size, strength and proportions, but she didn't want to draw too much attention to herself quite yet by becoming too big to fast. That may draw some unwanted questions like: Are you using steroids or growth hormones? It may also cause someone in her family to search her room and find the gun.

However this didn't discourage Amanda from wanting to use the gun it just meant she had to be careful and take it slow. She grabbed some clothes that were a little big for her and went into the dressing room. Amanda put on a shirt and pants that were a little big on her and adjusted the settings on the gun. She turned the muscle growth setting all of the way down and turned the height growth dial down, but kept it a fraction of the way up so she would grow an inch or two. Amanda fired the gun at herself, but it hurt a lot less this time perhaps because she was much stronger or maybe it was the lower setting she was using. In any case the gun caused her to grow two inches just as she predicted but she was also a little bigger all over, particularly in her muscles. But she didn't really care she fit into her new clothes pretty well now.

She paid the clerk for her new clothes and left the store. But as Amanda left she heard the 6'5 Caroline trying to convince the store clerk she was still the same woman he had measured only moments before. As Amanda walked home she wondered if it was a wise investment to have bought clothing that she will probably grow out of by the end of the week.
