Suddenly, a vortex appeared where the broken fragments of the gun laid on the ground. It slowly expanded from a few inches in diameter to more than six feet across in a matter of minutes, pulsing with blue energy all the while.

The vortex began pulling random objects from the room towards itself, as its' sucking power eventually produced winds close to 100 miles per hour.

The bookcase on the other side of the room flew towards the vortex, being immediately consumed by the spinning monster, strewing books all over the floor in the process. A few seconds later, on the other side of the portal, you could hear a loud crashing noise, as the bookcase splintered into a thousand pieces

Next, Jess began moving toward the vortex, her still-unconscious body unaware of what as going on. She passed through rather quickly, since she weighed less than 30 pounds now, despite her enhanced physique.


That left Robert and Amanda. The two shrunken teenagers, Robert at just over three feet and Amanda almost half that size, were lying next to each other, their bodies motionless as various forms of debris flew into the vortex from above.

The vortex was about to close, hopefully sparing the two adolescents in the process, when suddenly, another strong burst of energy shot forth, the same color of blue as the vortex itself, and surrounded Robert and Amanda's bodies, before pulling them into the unknown. The vortex then closed, seemingly happy with its bounty, and leaving he downstairs area a unholy mess.
