As the Jade Amazon picked Bruce up off the floor the cruel smile on her face changed to an expression the face had rarely worn - one of concentrated thought. She had meant to test her strength on Bruce, but holding the pitiful man aloft she quickly realized how insignificant a test that would be.

While she continued to think she began tossing Bruce up into the air and catching him, in the same way someone might absent mindedly play with a tennis ball while their mind was on other things. To her, the act was effortless to the point of meaninglessness.

To Bruce, the 15' arcs into the air were frightening to say the least. But, it was Bruce's firm belief that the strength of the Hulk was only his second greatest weapon. From back when the Hulk was a savage beast he'd always focused on using his mind to overcome problems so as not to become the Hulk. He relied on it less since he'd gained control of the Hulk but he was still one of the greatest minds around and could surely out-think Carly.

But that's when she caught him and fixed him with an evil grin. "I know just what to do."

Jess and Robert pulled up to where Carly's trailer should have been - and Jess guessed that the strewn about wood and aluminum siding represented most of the remains of the trailer - no doubt her mother had messed things up and the Hulk, with his world renowned temper - had torn the thing to shreds.

"Help", came a voice faintly from above. "Jess, help."

Jess and Robert looked up to see Bruce Banner hanging from a make-shift cable - a cable made from twisting the metal frame of the trailer around itself. The cable hung from an arm that looked like it had been built by compressing car frames together and then had been driven through the roof of the trailer complexes one permanent structure.

"Great, looks like mom went and fucked me over again."
