"Daaaavid!" Barbara yelled out at the top of her lungs, the veins in her neck bulged out from the effort. "Can you get the god-damn door?", but she still got no response. "Fuckit", she muttered, why does she get some many interuptions when she tries to do her aerobic DVD, she thought. She grabbed the remote and paused it, and pulled her towel off the rack so hard she almost knocked it down. She wiped her sweat off as she walked up to the front door. Whoever the hell was there kept knocking, like it was some kind of emergency. She openeed the door, not even bothering to see who was there through the peephole.
Carly looked up at Barbara, who did not look happy to see her, "Hello Barbara. I hope I'm interupting something. Is Dave home?"
Barbara couldn't believe it was David's ex-wife Carly. She hadn't seen her since his Mom's funeral about 5 years ago. She looked bad then, but she looked worse now.
"Actually, you interupted my workout. It's something you obviously don't know anything about, judging how you don't take care of yourself. You look like you were run over by a truck."
Carly smiled, little did Barbara realize that it was she that would be soon run over by a truck. A mack truck by the name of Carly. She noticed Barbara looking her up and down with that obnoxious look that she was well-known for. She always had thought that she was better than everyone else, and Carly had always felt insecure around her. She was a very beautiful woman, with an hourglass figure thatwould be every woman's envy, especially an ex-wife's. The fact that she stood a whole head taller than her didn't help either. But soon, that wouldn't be the case. Soon, Barbara would be looking up at her, as well as David. The fact that Barbara was a total bitch would only make it even more enjoyable to introduce the two of them to the new and improved Carly.
Barbara couldn't resist needling Carly, she was good at it, and afterall, Carly was an easy target. "Who dressed you today? It looks you're wearing your older sister's clothes, if your older sister was a homeless person."
Carly's blood began to boil. This was going to be fun. "Hey Barbara, we can't all be as perfect, or as phony as you. Now can you please get David, I have something for him."
"What have you got for me Carly?" David asked as he walked in front of Barbara. He had been listening to the two of them bicker for the past few minutes. He always enjoyed how Barbara could get a rise out of Carly. She was an expert in making people feel bad about themselves, he wa just glad that he wasn't on the receiving end for a change.
Carly was startled by David's sudden appearance. She began to feel nervous. What if the change was a one-time thing? She hadn't thought of that. It would be beyond embarrassing for her. She walked into the house, right past the two of them.
"Well, I had a little accident. It actually wasn't such a bad thing....."
Barbara, looked at her like she was crazy, "Have you been drinking?"
Carly concentrated on trying to change. She felt her body begin to tingle, which was a wonderful feeling knowing what was about to happen. "Actually, I don't need to drink anymore, I get high a different way, as you're about to find out..." she said as she began her transformation. Her entire body took on a green hue as it started expaning outward and upward. Her legs, arms, chest, every body part kept getting bigger and greener as Barbara and David looked on in stunned disbelief, "What the fuck....." Barbara stammered out, not sure that she wasn't in some kind of realistic nightmare.
Carly smiled down at them as she was flexing out of her "borrowed" clothing, "You see, I had a wonderful thing happen to me. I am now the most powerful person on earth." She flexed her thigh into David, knocking him over in the process.
"David!" Barbara yelled out, as she knelt down beside him to see if he was alright. Carly laughed, a deep throaty laugh, "Don't worry about him. I would worry about myself if I was you." She reached down and grabbed her by the hair, lifting her up as she grew even further. Her muscles had exploded out of the clothing, and she was fully naked now. She dwarfed them, in size and girth. They looked like children compared to her. Barbara screamed as she felt her hair supporting her entire bodyweight. She couldn't believe that Carly had this kind of power. The muscle, the green skin, It was like she had become the Incredible Hulk. It was more like the Incredible Carly. She began to cry, not knowing what she had planned for the them. A mean drunk like Carly, with a huge grudge and unlimited power was not a good thing.
Carly pulled Barbara up towards her face, "Well...look who's crying like a little baby."
David rubbed his head, trying to collect his thoughts as he looked up at an impossible sight. His ex-wife had somehow become gigantic, her calves alone were bigger than his head. He thought about about trying to knock her over from behind, but he quickly forgot about that as he realized her sheer size. From the ground looking up, she looked 20 feet tall. As he looked around, he saw a strange looking gun lying in Carly's shredded clothes. He crawled over to it. Her back was turned to him, as she focused all of her anger at poor Barbara. He looked the gun over. It had dials on it, one said drain. His thoughts crystalized, this must have been her source of power. His mind raced back to their past. He new that Carly had once been involved with the Incredible Hulk. She must have drained him of his powers, and obviously had given them to herself. He looked at the gun quickle, he didn't have much time. He noticed a dial that said "Duplicate", he turned it to see what would happen. Nothing did. He looked at another, but before he could do anything, Carly had turned around and saw him playing with the gun.
"No!" She yelled and reached down for him. He instinctively fired the gun up at her, and the beam struck her directly in the chest, enveloping Barbara as well.
Carly fully expected to lose her new powers, but nothing happened to her, at least, not yet. She grabbed David in one hand and the gun in the other. She looked at the setting on the gun and laughed, "Boy did you screw up. You didn't set it "Drain", it was set on "Duplicate" and nothing happened. Or so they all thought.
Barbara felt strange, her entire body tingled all over. She looked up at Carly, how huge and powerfull she was, and she felt helpless. Her chest began to tighten, as if she was having a heart attack, but she bagan to realize that it wasn't a heart attack at all. She smiled in anticipation....
