Amy felt an intoxicating pleasure pass through her body, but forced herself to keep her eyes open to witness the upcoming transformation. She could see her muscles becoming more defined and swelling larger and she just knew that she'd soon dwarf that amateur behemoth who came into the bar.

But then, it stopped. Her muscles looked bigger, but not nearly to the superhuman proportions of the woman in the bar. She experimentally lifted her bed, and though it did seem lighter, she quickly judged that her body did not possess nearly the strength to outmuscle a bar full of men.

She gave herself another blast from the gun - this time she kept a more careful eye on herself as she was prepared for the bliss. she had set the guns dials to full strength, no height, but again her rewards, though impressive by any workout standard, were not the phenomenal results the bitch Carly got. Frustrated she tossed down the gun, slumped into a chair and clicked on the television. Some nerdy scientist was holding a press conference - she changed the channel - several times - he was on all of them.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I am here to announce that I, Bruce Banner, have finally been cured of the curse of the Hulk. I have been thoroughly examined by several scientists and there is no longer any trace of gamma radiation in my blood."

There was applause from the crowd for this.

"However, this is not a time for celebration - as this cure came at a cost. The power of the Hulk was siphoned from me by another individual."

A picture came up on a viewscreen behind him of an exotic dancer. "This is the most recent photo we have of Carly Thompson."

Amy's eyes widened - and then a smile parted her lips. Much was explained by what she'd just seen. Some brazen, naked green amazon walks into a bar, of course it has something to do with the Hulk - anybody with half a brain should know that - but then, brains were not Amy's long suit. Her strength had always been her strength, and she'd been shown up in that area. But, if this gun could suck the power out of the Hulk, it could no doubt suck his power out of Carly too. And if she was right, Carly would be keeping that bar open long past closing to keep showing off her new makeover, which would make her much easier to find.
