Robert hadn't even had the class to break up with Jess before he'd started dating Brooke. Had he known that his sister had started talking to Jess, he might have done that differently. It was only his third date with Brooke - he'd taken her to his makeout spot in the nearby park - when Jess and Amanda came strolling up with the gun in hand.

"Oh my God, you two-timing loser!", Jess shouted, incensed that what Amanda had told her - not just weeks back after the incident, but earlier today when she'd mentioned Brooke - was true. Robert was an idiot.

"So, I win the bet?", Amanda asked.

"What bet?", Robert fired back, finally recovering from being caught with his new girlfriend enough to let his anger at his sister come through.

"I bet that I could prove you weren't a nice guy - and I didn't even have to try very hard.", Amanda said.

"Yeah, you win.", Jess said, "Kick his ass."

"Oh? Kick my ass? I'd like to see that. My big sister, kicking my ass.", Robert started to laugh at the two girls.

"He's right Jess, I can't kick his ass."

"You can't, but...", Jess started to reply.

"I can't kick his ass when you so clearly deserve that chance.", Amanda said as she pulled the gun out of her belt behind her back. Robert suddenly realized he'd been lied to about the gun - but the two girls were too far away for him to do anything.
