Beth wasn't ready to draw too much attention to herself just yet - and so she slid herself into a seat amongst a group of amateurs who had chosen not to compete. Clearly she was superior in muscle, height, fitness and beauty to all of them - but by slouching a bit and trying not to draw attention she could blend well enough that most attention would be on the stage.

Each contestant took the stage in a robe, which was discarded at the start of their posing routine to reveal their swimsuit clad body. It was while under the robe that Beth used the strength gun to sample their body so that the drain would not be noticeable. She knew the contestants would feel a little dizzy and strange when the beam hit them, but that would surely be put off as performance jitters.

While she was only doing minimum drains, Beth couldn't help but leave the ray focuses just a little longer on the competitors who actually had more muscle than she did - not that they would for very long anyhow. After 25 competitors, the MC called an intermission before a second batch of competitors, then they would reveal the finalists. Beth took the opportunity to look down at the gun she'd been concealing from view and smiled to see that it held a 30% charge already. Anytime she wanted she could give herself muscles to make the biggest of these women look small - but she was patient. After this contest there'd be enough energy in this gun to make the world's largest men seem tiny.
