Amanda decided to call her friend Kelly over. She could always use the gun later on herself or Robert. And besides, Kelly had been her friend since the first grade. She picked up the phone in her room and dialed.

"H-Hello?" Kelly asked, a little groggy.

"I'm sorry," Amanda replied. "Did I wake you up?"

"Yeah," her friend replied, glancing over at her clock. "God, it's only 7:30. We still have another hour before we have to go to school."

"I know. Listen," Amanda said. "Can you come over right now? I have something to show you."

"Can't it wait until later? I just woke up."

"Please?" Amanda replied. I promise it'll be worth it."

Kelly was silent on the other end of the line for about ten seconds before replying. "Fine," she said, sighing in annoyance. "But this had better be worth it."

"It is. Believe me," Amanda said, before adding, "See you soon."

They both hung up and Amanda grabbed the gun from her dresser again, wondering how she was going to change her friend. For years, Kelly had said she had always wanted to be a lot taller. Being only 4'10", she was always complaining that she had to look up to all of her other classmates and was never asked out by any boys at school. Of course, it didn't help that her breasts were only A cups and that she was constantly mistaken for a little girl wherever she went.

Okay, so height was something she was definitely going to give to Kelly. But what about muscle? Amanda had never heard her talk about having extra muscle mass before. But, then again, not a lot of girls talked about stuff like that.

Amanda looked down at the height dial and saw that it was set at only 10%. "Okay," she said outloud, while trying to do the math in her head. "If I turn the height up to 25%, then Kelly will be a little taller than 5 feet, 7 inches." She paused for a moment, contemplating how tall she wanted her friend, before turning the dial up another notch or two. She decided to not change the muscle dial, at least for the time being.

Satisfied with the gun's settings, Amanda put the device down on her bed and started getting dressed for school. Taking out a pink t shirt from her closet and a pair of shorts, Amanda quickly slipped them on. Looking at herself in the mirror afterwards, she imagined her body even larger than her mother's, wondering how much differently the people at school and especially her brother, Robert, would treat her after she had transformed into a muscular amazon.

Lost in the fantasy momentarily, Amanda flexed her arms a few times, picturing them as 28" pythons, instead of the weak pipestems she now had. She didn't even hear the doorbell ring as Kelly arrived and the only thing that snapped her back to reality was her mother yelling for her from downstairs.

"Amanda! Your friend Kelly is here!"

Amanda tied her hair back and straighted her shirt out before going downstairs. Before she left, she took one last look at the gun on her bed and decided to stuff it in her backpack, just in case. After all, she didn't want Robert or anyone else to get their hands on the device and ruin her plans.

"Hey, short stuff," Amanda said happily, as she bounded down the stairs. Kelly looked up at her, a sullen expression on her face.

"Do you mind telling me why I had to get up at 7:30 this morning and walk two blocks over to your house, when I could have slept in for at least another 30 minutes?" Kelly asked, a little aggravated.

"Right, sorry about that," Amanda apologized. "But I promise you that it's for a good reason. Come on. Follow me." Amanda started up the stairs and Kelly begrudgingly followed after her, wondering what was so important.

They went in Amanda's room and Kelly sat down on her bed. "So, tell me," she asked Amanda. "Just what is it that you wanted to show me?"

Amanda brought the ray gun out of her backpack and Kelly immediately jumped to her feet, a little afraid.

"Oh, don't worry," Amanda assured her, adjusting the settings one last time. "This won't hurt you. In fact, it will do the exact opposite."

"What do you mean?" Kelly asked, still a little uneasy.

"You know how you're always telling me you want to be taller?" Kelly slowly nodded her head. "Well, this device can make you as big as you want." She made some final adjustments on the gun, turning both the height and muscle dials up a couple of notches.

"You must be joking," Kelly replied, concerned for her friend. "Nothing can do that."

"Here, let me show you," Amanda said, pointing the gun at Kelly and pulling the trigger.
