Amanda made it safely outside, thanking her lucky stars that she made it out without anyone seeing her. Still, she knew she was continuing to shrink and if anyone at school found out, her social life, as nonexistent as it already was, would officially be over.

Amanda stopped at the corner of her street, where she always waited for the bus. She figured she was a few inches below five feet at this point. Her shirt was already looking a little big on her dwindling frame and Amanda was having a hard time holding her pants up.

A short while later, the school bus arrived. In order to keep the other kids from noticing her shrinking, Amanda quickly got on and sat in the first row of seats. The bus slowly lurched forward, picking up a handful of other students, before finally arriving at school. All the while, Amanda continued to shrink…

When they arrived, Amanda made sure she was the last person off the bus. She stood up and walked into school, keeping her head down to keep people from noticing her. Amanda made her way through the school, hoping that her shrinking would soon be over.

She was currently four and a half feet tall and she was practically swimming in her shirt by now. Every other kid she passed in the hallways towered over her. Amanda felt like a little kid. “This is so humiliating,” she thought to herself. She quickly made her way to the bathroom.

“I hope no one sees me like this.”
