Amanda shook her head, "I don't know, I just feel out of it this morning. I'm gonna go freshen up."

"Hope you feel better, see you in second period."

"Yea, see you then." Amanda nodded and turned away from Sarah, moving quickly to the restrooms.

She splashed some cold water on her face and then regarded herself in the mirror. Her face looked pink and flushed, like she had either been running or had too much sun but hadn't burned yet. What had that gun done to her when it exploded?

She was starting to wish she had worn a bra, her nipples were standing at full attention and they were eye catching through the thin cloth. "Today is going to suck" Amanda mumbled to herself as she left the bathroom.

"I'm not sure I even want to be here anway." The final bell for her first class rang as Amanda stood in the hallway, tugging at her wedgie and debating what to do next.
