That was it, she was grabbing her shit and going back home to lay down or something.
"Whoa," she stumbled as she tried to put one foot in front of the other. She clenched her eys shut and tried to concentrate, to will the dizziness to pass.
Strange colors flashed and strobed across her closed eyelids, almost like looking at a kaleidoscope. As she tried a focus on part of the "kaleidoscope" it seemed to come into clearer focus and her body surged with a burst of adrenaline that left her knees trembling. She seemed go be able feel a faint pulse moving through her, as though her body was in tune to something and waiting . . .
