Reaching Kilika island with no trouble at all, Lulu and Sora manage to step onto the wooden port. Currently Sora is being completely engulfed in Lulu's hand in a fist so no one sees him. As the boat that took them to Kilika begins its route to return to Besaid, Lulu looks at the neighboring boat and approaches a man near the ramp. As she draws closer, the man who is on watch stops her dead in her tracks by saying:

"Sorry mam, but the boat is going through maintenance."

"What?" utters Lulu sounding puzzled. The man expands on his earlier reply by saying "If you're planning to go to Luca, then you'll have to wait until repairs are done." Feeling a bit miffed, but not letting it affect her demeanor, Lulu asks "When will the boat be ready?" The man says "It should not take long." Getting her answer Lulu heads into Kilika village near a spot on the wooden structure looking out to sea east of the town. Opening her hand letting Sora catch his breath Sora says as he sits up "I heard what he said..." After a momentary pause Sora curiously asks "Now what do we do?"

"Did you hear? It striked again."

Turning to face the source of the statement Lulu and Sora see two women conversing right outside the shop and bar of Kilika. Keeping their ears sharp they hear one of the women say "That green flying fiend is causing trouble again." After hearing the word Sora asks "A fiend?" Feeling the nostalgic feeling of constantly explaining yet again Lulu begins "When a person dies and aren't sent to the Farplane. They remain in this world. However, they're not alive and grow to resent the living. That in turn transforms them into monsters who prey on the living." Perking up a bit Sora says "A monster? So that's it. But what about this Farplane?" After hearing his question Lulu can't help but feel yet again that the boy she holds in her hand is not from Spira, just like a certain someone she knows. "The Farplane is where the dead rest in peace." answers Lulu.

Being filled with curiosity and hearing that these people need help Sora stands and proposes "Let's beat that monster!" With a slightly puzzled expression Lulu silently, but also sharply looks down on Sora. Sora continues to say "The people here could use our help and it's the right thing to do. Plus we have nothing better to do at the moment while they fix the boat. So come on!" It's true that it isn't a bad intention and Lulu has done her service to Spira in the past, but "Don't you think it would be dangerous at your size?" asks Lulu. Sora having dealt with massive foes in the past says not losing any of his confidence "I'll be fine trust me." Not wanting to take chances, Lulu silently grabs Sora and inserts him in between the belts near her exposed left thigh like in the past. "What are you-" is all that escapes Sora's lips as this time Lulu uses the belt to seal his mouth shut. The sound of mumbling is all that could come from Sora's mouth, but his small size ensures no one can hear him as Lulu heads towards the talking women.

"You said there's a fiend. Where?"

Asks a sharp voice. The women turn and look at the black clothed former guardian staring at them with a serious stare. Swallowing hard the woman says "...In Kilika forest." Getting the information that she needs Lulu heads directly to the forest as she exits Kilika's village. The woman who gave her the information can only stare in a dumbfounded manner as she says "What was wrong with her?"

Entering the forest of Kilika island, Lulu is treated to the green scenery of the many trees. Past the forest lies the temple where summoners usually went to gain an Aeon. However, this time she's not here for that at all as she's here to rid Kilika of a troublesome fiend. Feeling wriggling down below her she can tell Sora's not staying still and soon enough he manages to free his mouth from the tight belt that was pressed against it. "What are you doing!?" immediately complains Sora. Wanting to be brief Lulu says sounding rather harsh as she continues to walk deeper into the forest "I don't think you'd do well fighting against a fiend considering your size." Frustrated at her comment Sora opens his mouth but stops when he hears an odd sound. Hearing this sound has made Lulu stop walking as well. Lulu can hear the rustling of the leaves and tree branches all around her. Drawing out her moogle doll to defend herself she prepares herself for the incoming fight.

In a matter of moments from a patch of green plants a creature emerges. It seems to be around an average human's height. It's skin is green all over. It has a lighter shade of green for its wings that move at such a speed that it keeps the thing floating. It's sphere like head had a likeness of an insect complete with two red eyes. It only has two tentacle looking thorny arms, but its worth to note that the appendages that would replace its hands seem to curve sharply making them look like scythes. The fiend hisses as it launches itself towards Lulu.

Seeing the fiend coming Lulu gets down on the grass and feels the fiend fly swiftly past her. Standing up and looking back towards the creature she spots it heading towards a tree. As it nears the tree the fiend opens its insect like mouth and sprays the tree with a green looking gas. As the gas touches the tree it begins to dissolve. Figuring out the effects of its attack, Lulu sees that this fiend can shoot acid from its mouth. The fiend flies above the tree and looks down on Lulu. Not wanting to waste time Lulu raises her arm and shoots out a massive Blizzaga spell towards the monster. The fiend tilts its head as the spell comes its way and quickly dodges the blast.

The current location of the fiend is unknown to Lulu as she saw that the spell didn't hit it, but it also used its effects to hide among the trees. Suddenly Lulu feels a force hit her on her back making her fight to not fall forward as that would be a critical mistake against such a monster. Seeing a shadow fly past her Lulu looks up and sees the monster right in front of her a fair distance away. Unknown to Lulu the force of the tackle freed Sora from the tight confines of her many belts. As he falls on the grass Sora draws out his keyblade and yells "Don't think you're fighting alone!"

Being particularly easy to spot as Sora doesn't blend with the environment Lulu does see and manages to hear Sora's words. This moment's distraction however comes with a price as the monster launches another attack against the black mage. Looking up Lulu manages to see both scythes of the beast coming for her. But oddly enough they don't cut her body. The scythes quickly go past Lulu and the tentacle thorny portion of the fiend's arms wrap around her hips and waist. Feeling immediate pain Lulu groans as she finds it hard to keep standing with the thorny tentacles digging into her flesh. The monster may be a distance away, but knowing that its target cannot move with ease anymore makes it go in for the kill.

Seeing this and refusing to let his friend get beaten, Sora concentrates on the massive insect like monster and launches a Thundaga spell. As the monster flies a spark of electricity strikes it on the right red globe that makes it up its eye. Receiving some damage and stopping its assault, the monster turns and manages to spot Sora on the grass. Opening it's mouth and hissing the fiend heads downward to get rid of the tiny keyblade master. As the monster approaches, Sora times his actions and dodges leaving the fiend to crash on the grass and as it feels the effects of its body grinding against the dirt Sora jumps onto its back near the wings. Putting all of his strength into one very special slash Sora manages to cut off the monster's wings leaving it crippled and unable to fly. Immediately jumping off the fiend Sora yells:

"Lulu now!!!"

Seeing the opportunity Lulu concentrates and launches a powerful Firaga spell towards the fiend as it lays on the ground. The fiend being weak to the element goes ablaze. Fire burned the main body quickly and thoroughly. Feeling the spark of life fading the fiend's hold on Lulu disappears and its tentacles drop to the ground. Lulu moves away as she sees the fire spreading towards the tentacles. In a matter of moments both Sora and Lulu are treated to seeing the fiend disintegrate into pyreflies.

"We won!" says Sora sounding cheery as usual. Lulu looks towards Sora and thinks "Despite his size, he's still able to fight." Lulu admits that she underestimated Sora, but now she sees that he's a capable warrior. Trying to head towards him, Lulu stops as she feels a piercing pain that makes her say "Ah!" Getting his attention Sora turns and sees Lulu falling to one knee on the ground. Feeling concerned Sora goes to her. Once close to her he asks "Lulu, are you okay?" Lulu is breathing hard and seems to be resisting something. As his attention turns away from her face and lowers down her body, Sora spots a dark liquid on Lulu's dress. Approaching it and placing a hand on it, Sora feels the liquid to be warm. Removing his hand and looking at the liquid Sora's eyes widen as the liquid's true color is revealed to be of crimson red. Realizing the truth Sora says sounding worried:

"You're hurt!"

Unable to resist the pain Lulu fully collapses into a sitting position on the ground. Realizing that Lulu was distracted momentarily by him before the monster grabbed her, Sora sees that it's his fault that Lulu is wounded right now. Feeling like he has to make it up to her Sora says "Lulu let me help you." Lulu curiously asks "You can...do that?" Sora nods, but as he studies the trail of blood along her dress, Sora begins to get uneasy as he spots where the wound actually is. Swallowing hard Sora hesitantly says "...y-you might not like it. But please trust me."

Lulu doesn't like people taking advantage of her, but at the same time she does not wish to die of blood loss in the middle of a forest with no aid. After what she's been through so far with Sora, she's giving him the benefit of the doubt and a chance to prove himself as she honestly needs help. Changing from her sitting position, Lulu has laid face down on the ground placing her head on top of her hands. She has loosened her clothes a bit. The black skirt of belts has been lowered slightly exposing the back of her waist and her hips leaving the upper portion of her butt exposed.

Sweating a bit from nervousness since Sora's not too used to seeing this part of a woman's body, Sora is currently standing a bit past the middle of Lulu's back which is still clothed. From his position, Sora can see that the back of Lulu's exposed hips and waist are of the same smooth looking creamy white skin tone as her face. Making his way down to her waist Sora gets on his knees and near the open wound. Not letting his insecurities get the better of him Sora closes his eyes and hovers his hands above the wound. Concentrating Sora's hands glow green as he performs a Curaga spell. The expansive circle of the spell covers all of the injuries on Lulu's waist. Feeling a soothing feeling Lulu closes her eyes and sighs in relief. Finished with her waist, Sora feels himself blush as he says "Almost done." Hesitantly he goes down further towards Lulu's hips. His hands glowing again, Sora casts the healing spell yet again. Shooting another wave of the soothing feeling for Lulu to feel. Taking in a deep breath and then exhaling it in a slow and steady manner, Lulu feels better. It's a good thing there's no one in the forest otherwise Lulu would have never considered allowing any of this.

Completing his task of healing and closing all of her wounds Sora jumps off Lulu's body onto the grass. He looks away not wanting to damage the trust he and Lulu have as she fixes her dress. Once she's done pulling up her skirt of belts and buckles, Lulu sits on the grass and looks down towards Sora who's still looking away with a blush on his face. Seeing this gesture Lulu thinks "He's not typical..." Given what she's seen of Sora so far, Lulu sees that he respects her. Not only his personality, but his actions are also in good nature. Now after helping her in her time of need Lulu can't help but say "Sora." Looking up to her, Sora sees Lulu surprisingly smiling at him as she says gently.

"Thank you."

"U-Um...you're welcome." says Sora still sounding a bit shy. This was odd Sora had to admit. He has seen Lulu show relaxed or pleased expressions in the past, but this time he's seen a new side of Lulu. She's expressing genuine emotion as she expressed her gratitude as well as her smile. Realizing something Sora's blush disappears as he says "It's funny..." Lulu quietly looks at Sora who continues to say "I can help you, but I can't help myself." Understanding his frustration, but expressing it in her own way Lulu says sounding rather direct "Don't think that way." Lulu's smile is gone as she shows a serious expression on her face. Realizing Lulu's back to the way she always is makes Sora say "You're right." There is no reason to lose it at the moment, they still haven't even reached Luca. Forming a more confident but simple smile Sora says "Let's head back into Kilika. I'm sure by now the boat's ready!" Lulu places her open palm on the ground and Sora jumps on it. Standing up Lulu begins to walk out of the forest. As she walks, Lulu feels that the fiend that attacked her made some holes in her leather clothes around her waist and hips. Not being able to do anything about it Lulu ignores this as she continues to move forward and finally leaves Kilika forest.

"There she is!"

Comes a female voice as soon as Lulu steps into town. Pressing Sora against her chest to have him pretend to be a doll is all she can manage in such short notice as Lulu sees a group of townspeople coming her way. Among them the woman who informed her of the insect like fiend approaches as well. Once close enough the woman says "Miss I really appreciate what you did." Confused beyond reason Lulu says "Huh?" "I saw you beat that horrible fiend that's been bothering us for a while now. Thank you so much!" Lulu feels a bit nervous about what this woman just said. It could be possible that she saw Sora as well or worse she could have seen how Lulu was slightly undressed while being healed in the forest. Feeling some sweat forming, but managing to maintain her demeanor Lulu asks quite casually "You saw that? Anything else?" The woman says sounding happy "After seeing how you torched the thing I just had to run into town to tell the big news!" At hearing those words Lulu's soul felt lifted. The woman did not see anything, she didn't even see the monster turn into pyreflies, making Lulu feel at ease.

"But your dress got ruined in the fight..."

Getting her attention Lulu says sounding casual "In a battle, such things happen..." Picking up on a decisive tone Lulu continues to say "Now I need to go to Luca." The woman says "Now that's not right, us girls should look our best. There's a group of tailors from Kilika going into Luca in the same boat as you. I'll put in a good word and let them know of the great thing you did for us. They'll fix up all the holes and make your dress look like new. Let's hear it for the heroine everyone!" Cheers of the townspeople roared around Lulu. Unable to do much she just stays reserved.

After the crowd disperses, Lulu heads towards the wooden port and sees people getting on the ramp and onto the boat that will take her and Sora to Luca. Things are looking up, however all hope comes crashing down as Lulu notices the same guard as before performing inspections of the traveler's belongings. From his position posing as one of Lulu's dolls Sora sees the hindrance that's presented itself.

"Show all of your belongings before getting on the ship."

States the guard quite loudly. "What a pain." complains one of the passengers as he passes by Lulu and Sora."Yeah I know, as if anyone is going to cause trouble in Luca." Heading towards a less populated area of Kilika's wooden port Sora says "So the guard is checking everyone." "It seems so." says Lulu. Not feeling like giving up just yet Sora says "I can just pretend to be a doll to fool the guard just like how we did before."

"WAAAHH!!!!"

The cry of a child gets both Lulu and Sora's attention. As they look on they see the guard to the Luca boat remove a stuffed doll from a little girl's hands. The guard grabs the head and body with both hands and begins to pull. Within moments the doll's head is ripped right off letting all the cotton come pouring out as the little girl cries even louder. The guard says "Suspicious items can be hidden even in childish toys such as dolls."

Putting an open hand on his neck with an expression of pure shock Sora finds it hard to swallow some of his own saliva after seeing what he just did. Lulu while more held together does not want to imagine what would happen if Sora was the victim of such an action. It goes without saying, but the doll plan was out. Feeling angry Sora says "That jerk, how can we get in now!?" Getting an odd idea Lulu says sounding hesitant "...I think I have an idea." Feeling hopeful Sora says "Let's hear it." "I could sneak you in, by hiding you under my feet." says Lulu. "What?" is all that Sora can muster. Not oblivious as to why he would react that way, Lulu says to reassure him "I'll be careful." Realizing how Lulu is when it comes to her body, Sora understands why she wouldn't hide him in her breasts. Also given how kind she is towards him, he trusts her enough to do this. Plus if she allowed him to heal her injuries, then the least he can do is let her help him get on the boat. Seeing that there's nothing left to say Sora says "Okay, let's go before we miss the ship."

Being lowered on the wooden floor, Sora sees Lulu lift up her dress a bit. He sees her black open leather sandals. Removing the left one Lulu gives Sora the opportunity to get in. As he gets on the sandal he can feel it a bit damp with her sweat. Lying down face up Sora feels that this doesn't bother him all that much. Even when Lulu's sole begins to come down on him, Sora doesn't feel all that intimidated. Massaging her feet has made him familiar with them to an extent. As the sole comes down on him Sora is under her arch. The little sunlight that he could see disappears as Lulu lets her skirt drop. This limited environment is a good way to increase heat and sweat making Sora think "Lulu hurry."

Not stepping down fully on Sora Lulu decides to go the extra mile so as to make it easier on him. She motions her left foot that has the brown spiky haired boy upwards almost diagonally and stands on her heel. She begins to walk normally with her right foot while stepping on her left foot's heel and slowly but surely she nears the boat towards Luca. As Lulu reaches the guard, he looks at her and says "Hand over your items miss." Lulu hands the man her moogle doll for conjuring spells. As expected, the man tears its head off and says "You may go." Lulu can't help, but feel some resentment after seeing that display. However, she knows better so she slowly makes it onto the ramp and into the ship.

Once aboard, Lulu sees the ramp removed. The ship begins its journey towards its intended destination. After all that's happened today Lulu feels mentally tired and she's sure Sora feels the same way. After so much trouble and effort, both of them are finally heading towards Luca. It's all a matter of time before they're able to meet the people who can potentially help Sora.
