A few weeks into Adam's renewed relationship with Shelly, he's put on enough weight that all of his jeans are tight, and so are some of his smaller shirts - a change that Shelly really seems to appreciate, but which makes Adam really uncomfortable. Does Shelly really love him, or just the idea of him growing? And why is getting so hard to do up his jeans?
Shelly, for her part, is happy to see the change, and buys Adam a new shirt to celebrate.
And Scott? Well, seeing wardrobe 'upgrades' as just a natural part of his growth and change towards happiness, Scott is delighted to 'have' to suggest to Adam he needs to go shopping.
