by
This item requires reviews with ratings.
This is an interactive story containing 10 chapters. Each chapter tells part of the story and (usually) ends with multiple choices. Click on a choice and you'll be lead to the next chapter in your story. When you reach a chapter that hasn't been written yet, you will have the option to write it! Don't be shy... make an addition!

BEFORE YOU ADD, READ THE FOLLOWING

This interactive is not a normal interactive; it's sort of a combination of an autograph book and the six degrees of seperation game. So please, PLEASE do not add to this until you read all of the following rules below:

1) Do NOT add to this unless someone you know has already added to it. That's the six degrees of seperation part. Of course, initially that means you have to know me. However, as more people add on, that means the potential for more people to add on increaseses.

2) The narrative is in the second person

3) The story is a 'tour' through a house, in which Jennifer (moi!) resides with her WDC friends, and they with their WDC friends, ad infinitum. Each chapter added will represent a room. Your room. Make it your room. Put something about yourself into it. You can have a whole suite of rooms if you want, but make each chapter a seperate room. And remember the 13+ rating please!

4) In the first room you add, have something in the description of the room act as an emotional link to whoever it is you know in the house. For example, it could be an unopened letter from somebody, a manuscript laying on a desk from somebody, etc.

5) Also, if you are not physically linked to the friend who brought you in the house (i.e., you're not the next chapter), try to 'create' a physical link in your description, be it an intercom system between you and your friend's room, vacuum tube, whatever

6) When creating a room, the next chapter options should be represented as doors. Please use all the options (i.e., if there are three options, make three doors). And please don't say where the doors are leading to. Just make the option like "A half-open door leading into a hallway" or "A spiral staircase leading upwards"

7) Please make the transistion from your room to the previous room logical. For example, if you picked a choice that said "A spiral staircase ascending", don't make the first sentence in your description "You walk down into a basement"

8) Feel free to post links to your works, etc. in your room, but please make it part of the description. (For example, an image link might be an advertising circular sitting on your desk, a movie poster on your wall, etc., links to your writing might be book titles on the binders, etc.) Just make it part of your room, please, and not its entirety!

9) In the foyer, I plan to place an album (i.e., a link to a photo album) for pictures of the house. If you have a picture you'd like included in the album, please send it to me, including a description of what the picture is of (i.e., your room, etc.)

10) Again, special thanks to iKïyå§ama for not only the great banner, but a very cool virtual dollhouse building site at http://www.steelegrafix.com/. Since I make actual dollhouses, this was a fun site for me. If you make a room or whatnot that you'd like to put in the eventual album, just let me know!

11) If you'd like to use the banner above as part of your signature, it's {image:#1424948}

12) I'll try to keep editing down to a minimum, but I still reserve the right to do so. Also, if you have an questions, comments, or suggestions, please drop me a line!
