"Sure, you're on!" Snow said. He walked past Aron to make room for the battle.
"I guess I'll judge the battle then." You said, standing between them.
Aron grinned with confidence. "Lets make this a one-on-one battle. Ready?" Aron asked.
Snow nodded and threw Spinarak's pokeball, releasing it in a flash of light. Aron did the same with his pokeball.

A pokemon you'd never seen before appeared from Aron's pokeball. It was green, and looked kind of like a snake, but it had arms and stood on two legs, and had a tail that looked like a leaf. Puzzled, you scanned the pokemon with your pokedex. However, no information came up.
Seeing you with your pokedex out, Aron explained things. "Oh, sorry. See, I'm from the Unova region and this is one of our starter pokemon, Snivy. In Unova, there are exotic pokemon not found anywhere else in the world." He said.
Wow, Snivy looks like a cool pokemon to have" Snow said.

If both trainers are ready, let the battle begin!" You said, eager to see this new pokemon in battle.
Aron started out with tackle. Bit it hardly did a thing.
"Wow, Snivy sure is fast. Spinarak, use String Shot to slow it down!" Snow ordered, but instead, Spinarak rolled its eyes and used Poison Sting.
Annoyed, Snow asked Spinarak why it disobeyed him. Taking advantage of the moment, Aron launched his counter-attack.
"Snivy, use Attract, now!" he said. Snnivy looked at Spinarak and winked....

Did it work? Or were both pokemon the same gender?
