Jenny and Eric look up at the monster the cube had created. Valerie was indeed all powerful as she had declared in her booming voice which sounded like thunder to the ears of the mortals below. Jenny and Eric's shock at the fact that Valerie had destroyed the cube and absorbed all of its power left them speechless and unable to move.

After Valerie's booming declaration and the invigorating effects of absorbing nearly unlimited power wore off she glanced down at the terrified Eric and Jenny. Valerie squatted down her 500 foot body to get a better look at the two mortals who attempted to keep her from attaining the awesome power she now possessed. Valerie attempted to speak softly to Eric and Jenny, but to their ears Valerie's voice sounded like rumbling thunder. "Look at you two. To think not too long ago I was as weak and vulnerable as you. Now look at me I'm perfect. A Goddess of unimaginable power. I should crush you for attempting to deny me this power, but if you had not brought the cube to me in the first place I might not have gained this power. For this reason alone I will let you live and give you the privilege to live as one of my worshipers." Valerie stands up to her full height and proclaims, "Now is the dawning of a new age for humanity! In which all will bow before their new goddess Valerie the all powerful!"

Police sirens are heard in the distance. Valerie turns toward the noise and looks down at the approaching police cruisers. "Insects," says Valerie disdainfully. She raises her foot and crushes four of the police cruisers with a single step. The two police cruisers that remain go in reverse and fire at the immense muscular goddess before them. Valerie merely smiles at the fact that she can't even feel the bullets. She raises her hand and a flash of intense light appears from it. Once the light disappears the police cruisers are seen as blackened metal husks as well as several cars around them. In fact the entire street around the police cruisers was blackened and burned by Valerie's energy blast. Valerie looks at her hand in shock. Then begins to laugh maniacally at her discovery. Valerie now realizes that the cube didn't just make her big and strong, but had also given her pyrokinetic abilities. With this realization she began to wonder what else she could do.

However before she could contemplate further on what new powers she might have gained more sirens are heard in the distance. She sees fifteen police cruisers heading toward her, but before they even come within 200 feet of her she raises her hand and disintegrates them. Valerie begins to hear a strange buzzing noise sounding distinctly like a humming bird and turns her head to see three police helicopters coming toward her. The helicopters let loose with machine gun fire which bounces harmlessly off of Valerie's impenetrable skin. Valerie moves one of her gigantically muscular arms faster than the eye can follow and grips one of the helicopter in her hand crushing it. She opens her hand to see the crushed helicopter and says, "Whoops it looks like I broke the toy. I guess I don't know my own strength. I'll be a little more careful with the next one."

Valerie drops the crushed helicopter and moves to grab one of the other two. She grips the next helicopter as gently as she can in her hand, but despite how gentle she's being she does cause the steel walls of the aircraft to dent and move inward slightly. As she looks at the still whirling propeller she puts her finger in its path and effortlessly stops it from moving. The strain however is too much for the metal blades and they break off falling to the earth. Valerie watches the propeller fall to the earth and says, "Hmm I thought I might feel that. I guess I am invincible."

After the propeller breaks off the police officers in the helicopter lose their nerve and they jump out in parachutes. Valerie looks at the police officers in amusement and says, "Oh was that ride to scary for you."

The third helicopter upon seeing what happened to the other two turns in an attempt to fly away. Valerie looks at the helicopter leaving and says, "Oh don't want to play any more. That's okay I was getting a little bored with this game anyway." At that Valerie casually tosses the propellerless helicopter at the one flying away. The two collide and crash to the Earth.

With her nearly effortless victory complete Valerie proclaims, "Although your feeble attempts at stopping me were amusing I would like the cooperation of this cities people. Any who seek to live will gather within the city park in three hours. Any who attempt to leave the city will die at my feet. That is your choice live as my worshipers or die in your ill conceived defiance of me!"

Valerie turns around to see if Jenny and Eric were still where she left them. The two are no longer standing in the street where she left them. Valerie briefly considers if it was a mistake to let them live. Yes they knew about the cube, but all of the cubes power was now at her command. Although the cube had made Jenny stronger than any normal human her power was minute in comparison to the power Valerie herself now commanded. On that thought Valerie stopped worrying. Nothing could stop her now. She was the most powerful being in the world and as far as she knew the Universe. She was quite confident that she didn't need to worry about a couple of insects like Jenny and Eric.
