However Valerie was true to her word everyone she saw leaving the city was either stepped on or burnt to a crisp by her pyrokinetic abilities. Initially Valerie casually patrolled the borders of the city crushing or burning all who attempted to leave. This soon began to bore Valerie who then built dirt wall or collapsed building over road ways to prevent people from leaving the city. At the last road she simply sat in front of it which effectively stopped anyone from leaving that way.
While Valerie waited for her deadline to run out she contemplated her current situation. She now had power equal to that of a god and despite her demonstration of that power people still defied her. Why did they do that? Did they not see how perfect she was. Valerie looks into the multiple windows on a skyscraper and thinks, "I am the perfect combination of power and beauty. My pure black hair, my unblemished bronzed skin, my eyes glowing with white light, my perfectly massive round breasts, my hmm muscles." She looks at her muscles which upon closer inspection seemed inhumanly large almost disproportionate to her body. Valerie says, "I guess they could be a little smaller." At that they begin to shrink. Although they shrink to a more manageable size they are still heavy weight bodybuilder material. Were she a normal sized person they would be equal to Denise Masino's. Valerie is surprised and pleased by her new discovery although her muscles were smaller she felt no weaker for it. She realized that her power was not reflected by her physical appearance. Were she five hundred feet shorter she would still be as strong as she was now. Looking at the city which to her eyes looked like a model Valerie decided, "Well I am rather intimidating. Perhaps a smaller size would reassure my followers."
At the park most of the cities people had gathered. Some were afraid that Valerie wanted to get them all in one place, so she could kill them all in one blow so many stayed in their homes. The people waiting saw the 500 foot Valerie walking towards them. Many were afraid, but some couldn't help but be enraptured by the immense beauty of the goddess before them. Once before the crowd Valerie began to shrink. Although she was much smaller than she was before at 30 feet she was still an imposing figure. Valerie says, "I am so glad that so many people have come here today. You are the first to witness the ascension of your new goddess. Who will lead humanity into a new age and unite your scattered and diverse species under my rule."
A frightened woman says, "What are you going to do to us?"
Valerie looks down at the frightened woman bends down and gently touches her face with her immense hand. The woman shudders in terror and Valerie says, "Nothing. You are the faithful who have gathered here and have shown your devotion to me."
Suddenly a gun shot is heard and the crowd shouts in terror. A crushed bullet drops from Valerie's unmarked forehead into her waiting palm. She looks in the direction the shot was fired and looks at the building from which the shot came from. She squints her eyes and she can clearly see through the walls and sees a police officer with a rifle running down the stairs. She raises her hand and a flash of white light engulfs the building. When the light dissipates only the charred iron supports of the building are seen. Valerie turns back to the terrified crowd and says, "He has defied my will and has paid the price with his life and shall now suffer eternal damnation, but you have the chance to serve me in this life and enjoy paradise in the next. Now the faithful will bow down and proclaim their love for me the mother and goddess of all who created you in my own image."
At these word the crowd bowed down instantly many truly believing that Valerie was indeed the Goddess she claimed to be. Others however were still doubtful of her claims, but none the less bowed down out of fear and acceptance of her awesome power. Valerie smiled serenely, but inside she was laughing immensely. Valerie thought to herself, "Oh my god I can't believe they bought it! Those idiots! Hmm, but then again maybe I am god. I mean this power oh it's so incredible I feel so strong, like I could do anything, but that doesn't mean I'm god. I've never believed in god I've seen no proof that a higher power is watching over us. But now all of these people worship me and with all of this power at my command maybe I am the higher power. I know of no power greater than my own, and I will soon be the ultimate authority on this planet. If I'm not a god I don't know what is. Where will this story go next? Your choices are below...
