Joe couldn't stop thinking of the two prisoners. He wanted to help, but he also didn't want to upset Morrigan, for he wanted her feet so much. He sat there obediently as the next prisoner came in.
It was a little boy, about 8 years old. He was in tattered clothes with dirt on his face. He had a mad look on his face. The guards brought him to the throne.
"And what is this peasant accused of?" Morrigan asked.
"Stealing, Your Highness." the guard replied.
"Again? I'm getting tired of these people stealing. Take him away."
"Hey! You can't do that to me!," the boy yelled. "I had no choice! Let me go!"
"Silence!" the guard said. He began beating up the boy with his staff. The boy quickly went to the ground, covering his head and crying. Morrigan simply watched in pleasure. Joe couldn't stand the sight of it. He turned away.
The guard continually beat up the little boy, who was near unconciousness. Joe looked again. The boy was still being beaten up but had no strength to defend himself. Joe thought that he had to do something.
"Master Aensland! Please, stop this brutality! He's just a little boy!" Joe pleaded as he lifted her boot and started kissing them. But she pulled her feet away and stood up over him.
"How dare you question my authority!" Morrigan said. "You'll pay for your disobedience! Guard! Take the boy to the prison with the rest of the maggots."
The guard dragged the boy away.
"Please, Master. I didn't mean to! I'm sorry!" Joe pleaded.
"I don't want to hear it. I told you once already, yet you still disobeyed. For that, I'll have to make you even more subordinate."
Morrigan kicked him down on his back and pressed her foot against his face to keep him down. She grabbed the staff.
Light came through the staff and transferred to Joe. As he was encased in the light, he felt weird all over. He looked at his hands and could see that his body was slowly shrinking.
When the light disappeared, Morrigan smiled.
"Maybe now you'll learn your place, being only one foot tall!" Morrigan said. She giggled.
"What?! One foot tall?! Noooo!!!" Joe exclaimed.
"Silence! This will be your permanent body now. You better get used to it."
Joe covered his face and began to have watery eyes. Never again shall he be normal. He will never be accepted by the community he once lived in. His hope for a normal life slipped away from him by a simple wave of a staff.
"Come here, babe." Morrigan called. Joe had mixed feelings of anger and lust towards Morrigan. But he didn't want to anger her even more, for she might do something worse to him.
He crawled to her feet. Everything seemed bigger now.
"Take off my boots." Morrigan demanded.
