Storm, also known as Ororo Monroe to her friends, had decided to take a vacation from the life of being a super hero, at least for a week. When her young friend and team mate, Kitty Pryde heard of her plans, she had insisted on joining her. Storm didn't mind; she had become good friends with Kitty almost since they first met back when Ororo and Professor Xavier had invited her to come to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, which was secretly a school for mutants.

"Well, where are you going, Storm? I'm up for anything." said an adventurous Kitty.
"Well, Kitty, I've been wanting to go back and visit Cairo, Egypt. It feels like it's been so long since I was there, and I miss it so much" confessed a home sick Storm.
"Great! I always wanted to see Egypt" said Kitty enthusiastically. "I'll get packing!" And with that, Kitty was out of sight in no time, since she phased through the wall and straight to her bedroom.
"Ahh, Kitty.She's so young, beautiful, and filled with life." admired Storm. "I guess I had better get packed, too, if I'm ever going to get to Cairo before next century." she said aloud sarcastically.

After they had finished making the necessary preparations, they both went to bed early so they could get a fresh start early the next morning.
"We'll be back in a week, Professor. Is the X-Jet ready?"
"It should be. I told Logan to fill it up with gas when he got back from Ontario last month."
"Alright then, Professor. Are you sure everything will be ok while we're gone?"
"I'm quite sure. Go, and enjoy yourselves. I'll be fine; the others will be here if I need assistance. You both deserve some rest and relaxation."
"Ok, Professor, you've convinced me."
"Take care. I look forward to seeing you both when you get back"
"Good bye, Professor!" Storm and Kitty said in unison.

And with that, they set off for Cairo.
"Mmmm, Storm, wake me when we get there. I'm still *YAWN* tired..." said a tired Kitty as she made herself comfortable.
Storm nodded her head and smiled as she focused on driving the jet.
