How about Lynda Barry's comics?

Oh geez, that was hard to type. Lynda Barry's comics, featuring the reserved Arna, the sympathetic Freddie, and the one of a kind Marlys, are among some of the most wonderful comics I've ever read. Maybe it's a bad idea to see this comic's quiet innocence shattered by chaos's own brand of... well, chaos.

Well, too late now.

For the record, I don't know the official title for Barry's comics. Please cut me some slack.
