Chapter 16: Babysitting Dinner   (ID #578159)
an addition by: chaos  More by this author

The adopted daughter of Kevin Dewclaw groaned in annoyance for the hundredth time in the last hour. Lindesfarne had been asked by her long time friend Tammy the Moth to babysit her children while she went out with her husband. There had been a lull in her college class work and Lindesfarne agreed to babysit the kids, unaware that over the last few months, a hundred or so of Tammy’s eggs had hatched, giving way to hundreds of loud, annoying bug children.

“Aunty Lindesfarne, can I have some milk?”

“I got to use the potty.”

“Aunty Lindesfarne, Billy hit me!”

“No I didn’t!”

“Where’s the cookies?”

They were all around her, demanding one thing or complaining about something. Lindesfarne normally liked kids, but babysitting hundreds was too much for her. The kids were getting on Lindesfarne nerves, but that was not the only reason she was so frustrated. Lindesfarne was an insect eating hedgehog and Tammy was a moth, making Tammy part of Lindesfarne normal balanced diet. However, Lindesfarne considered Tammy her friend and would never eat someone she was close to. Her children on the other hand were not close to Lindesfarne in anyway.

“Whee! It’s all warm and gooey in here!”

The new voice came from inside Lindesfarne stomach, where nearly half a dozen of Tammy’s kids were wiggling around, having the time of their lives. The little rascals had no idea what was in store for them, only that they were somewhere dark and warm. Lindesfarne placed her hand on her bloated, wiggling stomach. She didn’t have the heart to explain to the kids what was in store for them. Her hope was that by the time the acid started building up they’d use up all the oxygen and pass out. Lindesfarne may not have been close to any of the children, but she didn’t want the to suffer.

“Are you okay in there?” Lindesfarne asked, even though it was a dumb question. Five bug children were inside her belly, giggling and having a good time now, later they would not be enjoying themselves quite so much. Lindesfarne leaned back on the couch, letting her big, round belly flop out. She usually never ate this much, but the kids were so cute and looked so tasty. It had started out so easily, one of the most cutest bug children came to Lindesfarne with a scraped knee. Lindesfarne had taken the tiny bug into her arms, washed his injury in the bathroom, and then made the critical mistake of kissing his booboo all better. One small taste of succulent bug shell had made Lindesfarne taste buds water. Without thinking she had kissed the child again, then licked him, and the next thing she knew she was forcing one of the tykes down her throat. No complaint came from the child when he was going down, only a muffled squeal of excitement as he plummeted towards her belly. She had wanted to stop then, but another kid came up to her, unafraid to come towards her after seeing their sibling swallowed. Lindesfarne ate her next, then another on, and another one, and another one. Bug children are like potato chips; once you start eating them you can’t stop.

“We love it in here!” Squealed one of Tammy’s children. All the kids agreed as they huddled together inside Lindesfarne stomach. They were all part fireflies and lighted up the stomach with the bulbs on their butts. They oohed and awed at their surroundings. The stomach was a shaped like big egg, colored pink and wrinkly all over. Juices dripped from the creased stomach walls, forming a pool of liquid the reached the children’s knees. It was a little tight, but the kids still loved it. They bounced around, laughing and cuddling up together. They all shared one thought; they never wanted to leave this cool place.

“Aunty Lindesfarne?” A small voice spoke up and the stuffed hedgehogs looked down at her feet to see a tiny blond haired mothgirl wearing an adorable pink dress look up at her with big doe eyes. Several of her siblings joined her to stare at Lindesfarne, all with big pleading eyes. They looked so cute and innocent; it took all Lindesfarne self-control to not drool.

“Yes honey?” Lindesfarne said in her most motherly voice, which only sounded tense. Considering her real mother had abandoned her, her first adopted mother had kept her at a distance and her second adopted mother was a wolf, Lindesfarne had little experience even knowing what a real caring mother sounded like.

“Can we join Andy, Jessica, Samoan, George and Alexia?”

“Who?” Lindesfarne asked, having failed to learn even half the hundred plus kids names.

The mothgirl didn’t say anything, she just pointed to Lindesfarne’s bouncing, big belly. Blinking, Lindesfarne grasped what the girl was saying and sighed loudly. Either these kids were fearless or incredible stupid. Considering their mom liked to fly into light bulbs and their dad had more brains in his glowing butt then he did in his head, the latter was most likely the reason for their actions.

“Sorry, kids, auntie’s full,” Lindesfarne said as she patted her huge gut. She wasn’t completely full, but she was still not going to eat these kids. She had already eaten five of Tammy’s children, not many when you consider she had over a hundred more running around, but it was still wrong. She was not going to binge eat her friends children; it wasn’t a nice thing to do.

“Okay,” the tiny mothgirl grumbled and started walking away. Her siblings joined her in leaving and Lindesfarne started to relax when the little mothgirl spun around and flew strait at Lindesfarne face. The next thing Lindesfarne knew, the little girl was in her mouth, wiggling her way towards her throat. The mothgirl giggled as she squirmed her way into Lindesfarne mouth, finding the wet maw to be so cool. Lindesfarne gagged at the sudden invasion of her maw and automatically swallowed, sending a giggling lump down her throat. Her belly groaned as it expanded further, filling with a sixth moth/firefly hybrid.

The other children all grinned after seeing how easily one of their siblings had made it into the hedgehog’s mouth. They had been listening to their siblings inside Lindesfarne laugh and enjoy themselves, while they were left out, leaving them all green with envy. They wanted to see the inside of Lindesfarne stomach and play around in the hot, damp belly, and when over a hundred under supervised children want something, they usually take it.

“Charge!” They swarmed their babysitter as one, crawling up onto her body and forcing their way into her mouth. Lindesfarne could only fight back feebly because of the huge number of bugs and her overstuffed belly. All the children were trying to push their way into her mouth at once, filling Lindesfarne’s mouth with two or three bugs at a time. Afraid of suffocating, Lindesfarne swallowed as fast as she could, feeling her stomach quickly filling with more and more wonderful squirming meals. Lindesfarne took deep breaths before another child stuffed itself into her mouth. Groaning, Lindesfarne swallowed again and prepared for another bug to worm its way into her maw.

She should love this; delicious food was literally forcing its way down her throat, but all she could think of was how angry Tammy was going to be when she came home to find dozens of her children eaten and how much her waistline would grow after tonight. Bug children were full of trans fat, she’d have to eat stick bugs for months to lose the weight she was going to gain tonight.
