Anne heads to her seat as attendance is being taken.

"Miss Wolf?"

"She's present." Jason answers, patting his belly. This produces no surprise from anyone. Samantha is far from the only girl attending the class in a student's stomach. Indeed, there is only routine grumbling about those who "let" themselves be consumed by boys not in this class. Anne does her part to overcome this problem by volunteering to take Katie's homework to her.

Once that is taken care of, the class gets down to business. One might think the girls being digested would be at a disadvantage, but somehow the teachers know how to be heard even if the student, and/or the teacher in the case of the female faculty, is quite far gone. [As Anne sadly knows, few of them seem to know how to say anything worth listening to.] It's a talent Anne wishes she had. Hearing only the boy's half of a conversation can be really annoying. Of course, if you put your ear to the belly and spoke about an inch away, you could hold a conversation, but it is a lot of work.

A bit bored, Anne glances around the room and notes, again, the heavy female majority. Counting the girls in bellies, it's about 2-1 female, which is Anne's fault. Somehow all of her magic adventures seem to involve changing a lot of males to females, and she could never seem to get them all changed back.
It's a mystery to Anne just why this happens so consistently. Does she have some deep-secret envy of men? It must be really deep since Anne can't detect a bit of desire to be male, which is just as well since the Wotch is always female.
What is really a mystery to Anne is that many of the males don't want to be switched back. Even if she doesn't want to be male, she can see how being male ought to be great. Just grab any girl you want and eat her. It sounds like a real easy life. It's the girl who has the responsibility to be his food.
That might be the reason. Maybe the transformed boys who had any sense of responsibility realized they had a duty and so only the irresponsibile ones [most of them] changed back. Of course Robin seems fairly responsible, and Jason isn't that irresponsible, so maybe the theory is just moonshine.
Of course, she has changed some women into men, and they had not wanted to stay men. But she hadn't done that all that often. Maybe she had just not run into the right women. After all, most men wanted to be..

"Miss Onymous?" Caught! Anne tries to babble out an answer to the question she had half-heard, and at least manages not to be fall flat on her face. She is still going to have to be more attentive in the future anyway.

Class eventually ends and Anne heads out, only to be stopped by Mingmei. "We are going to have a game of Table. Want to join in?"

"Sounds like fun, but I do have quite a bit of studying to do..." Anne hesitates.

"Oh come on. You'll enjoy it."

That went without saying, but...
