Larry or Jason? It's not an easy choice. She ought to be happy with either, or maybe miserable... It's not easy to tell in advance.
The trouble is that she has to tell now. She can't really just drift. That's the same as choosing Jason.
Well, is there any reason to deem that a bad idea? Well... He is sorta her brother, identical twin in a way... Isn't that incest? And while Anne doesn't think they will easily reunite, it is possible, and obviously more possible if they stay close together... It all really sounds more like excuse than reason, but...
Sonja continues to debate with herself without getting very far, but finally decides that Larry deserves his shot. If he doesn't work out, it won't be too hard to go back to Jason. The reverse may not be true. So Larry it will be. And may God have mercy on her soul...

Well, she had best consider her body just now. Leave her dirty clothes here. That way she will eventually return here anyway. The rest gets packed and, with a full supply of comics, she heads off to Larry's.

Or rather starts to. Then she realizes her chance of getting there without being eaten is not good. She has to improve the odds... A little thinking and a phone call...

"Wolfie? This is Sonja. Can you and Kattie do me a big favor? I'll be really grateful..."

"Now what is this about? This doesn't sound like you." is the suspicious response.

"I'll tell you on the way. But I just need to take a walk without being swallowed."

"Well, a girl should be willing to help with something like that, but you had better have a good story for us."

"I think I can promise that. Can we meet at the corner in 5 minutes?" This is confirmed and once again, Sonja can grab her pack and head out the door.

Sonja is first to the meeting spot, enough so that she starts to worry the others were eaten on the way, which is not likely, but not impossible. She is relieved when they come into sight.

"Now the story?"

"I'll tell you as we go. First, thanks for being willing to take one for the team. I'll try to pay you back.
"Now as to the story..." And Sonja relates the splitting of Jason and Sonja...
