Jake and Lacey are two people who never received much recognition in their lives. Lacey, although very smart, never attracted any guys and often had her academic accomplisments eclipsed by her high school's sports programs. She had a very petite frame which lacked everything that the popular girls of her high school had: looks, breasts, and a shape. Jake wasn't as smart but he was just as socially inept as Lacey because he lacked confidence from his skin and bones physiquw.. Upon entering their freshmen year in the same college, the two became fast friends. However, they didn't make much social progess beyond their own small circle of friends which included a few other people. Despite their small group, the two still enjoyed each other's company, often walking around the town their college was in just for the hell of it.

One afternoon the two of them were walking past an unmarked delivery truck that seemed to have gotten into a wreck and spilled a canister onto the street. As two men nervously tried to retrieve the tank, the pressure inside began to build to a breaking point.
