The bus ride was a hot one. But then again, so was that girl back at the school getting on the other bus. Josh Andrews, or Josh, tried to keep his mind off of how bored he was. But, he figured it was much better to go to summer camp than to stay home and watch television all summer. There were other guys on the bus with him, heading for Camp Taff. In fact, the entire bus was filled with guys, all about his age, seventeen. This was the first time he noticed there were no girls on the bus. But, from what his buddies at school told him, there was a girls' camp on the other side of the lake. So, his summer wouldn't be without some fun. He could sneak out during the night and paddle over to watch them. Yeah, summer camp might not be so bad. Josh's thoughts went back to the guys' camp. He hoped he didn't get stuck with some nerdy kid. Someone his own age and build would be ideal. They could sneak out together to spy on the girls.
         "I wonder what they'll feed us," Josh thought to himself. Probably something gross like they do at school. Josh managed to stay thin all his life, not tempted with the food that the school served. He worked out at the gym almost every day, too. So, he was in pretty good shape. He was starting to get tired, so he decided to take a nap until they got to the camp. He figured they'd get there in about an hour or so. Then he fell asleep.

An hour later...

         Josh slowly opened his eyes. The bus had stopped, and people were starting to file out and get off. They must've arrived at Camp Taff. "It's about time," Josh muttered to himself. He grabbed all his luggage and got off the bus. A very large man, about middle-aged, was standing outside waiting for everyone to get off the bus. When all were unloaded, he started speaking.
         "Welcome to Camp Taff! I'm Mr. Marshall, the camp director. Here at Camp Taff, you'll be participating in many activities, such as swimming, canoing, hiking, etc. But first, I'd like to assign you your cabins. So, when I call your name, just step up and I'll tell you which cabin you're in and your cabin buddy." Mr. Marshall starting listing off names. When he finally got to Josh's name, Josh walked over, and discovered that he'd be bunking with a kid by the name of Matt Sears, in Cabin C.
         Mr. Marshall finally finished with the names, and signaled for the guys to follow him up to the cabins. It was a quick walk from where they got off the bus, so Josh was relieved. They arrived at where all the cabins were, and the group dispersed. Josh found Cabin C, and entered. He put his stuff down, glad that he could relax for a little bit before dinner. Another boy entered the cabin.
         "You must be Josh," the boy said.
         "You must be Matt," Josh said in response. They both grinned.
