Three days had passed since Azula had attacked Toph and Katara with whatever strange bending technique she had perfected while locked away. Many healers and academics had examined the girls, but none seemed to come close to finding the root of the girls' need to overeat, nor why this compulsion seemed to directly affected their bending abilities.

"Toph, wake up!" Katara flicked a finger, sending a small but fast moving jet of water launching from a nearby pitcher into Toph's face. "Wha!Blch, pah!" Toph sat upright in her hotel bed, using her hands to help herself into the position. Toph had as usual neglected to bathe or change out of her robes, preferring instead to heave herself onto her bed and fall asleep. Katara had just finished a breakfast consisting of twenty-five fried eggs, a whole roast pig, and enough toast to comprise an entire loaf of bread (Which was slathered in over three sticks worth of butter.), so her bending was feeling fine...well, was. Already she felt fatigued and desperate for more food, and she had only walked up the stairs since she ate!

"I see little miss 'I can't eat like this anymore' has been stuffing her face!" sang a triumphant Toph as she wiped the water that had been bended at her off her face. "I only had a little snack!" Katara sharply replied, crossing her arms. "Little snacks aren't bending fuel." Toph patted her stomach, which had swollen outward since her binging began. Toph hopped out of bed, not looking as if she was going to shower or change her clothes. "I've gotta get me some meat!" Toph licked her lips and began trotting past Katara. Katara saw Toph's gut shaking in her robes as she left; she had clearly put on at least fifteen pounds. Everything about her was chunkier. Katara noticed how full Toph's face was becoming, and how seriously her belly was developing over such a short timespan; already Toph had developed a bulging potbelly that squished into tables when she sat down to devour pound after pound of guilty pleasures. Katara figured if Toph kept up her piglike eating habits, it wouldn't be long before she had to waddle to get around! Katara sighed and followed her friend down to the hotel restaurant; like it or not,she could also go for some food.
Katara sat across from Toph at the restaurant. "Looking for another 'little snack', madam fussybritches?" Toph grinned at Katara.
"No, I'm just here to talk to you about your overeating!" Katara growled.
"It's not overeating if you never feel full!" Toph shot back quickly.

Help from the hotel's staff quickly approached the ladies with a smile; the establishment had been gifted with all of the payment for the food they had served to Toph and Katara, thanks to the economic free reign Zuko had granted them. Toph and Katara were now valued patrons, and in this particular restaurant manager's eyes, his path to early retirement. "So, what will it be?" He asked with a smile.

"Don't you normally place orders up front first?" Katara asked. The manager waved a hand. "I'm willing to make an exception for you fine young ladies! You are most valued customers." That was all Toph needed. "Sweet, can I get a couple of roast pigs, about six dozen raw eggs, ummm, some pie, apple I guess...no....blueberry...umm just bring me all of the pie you've got, and a muffin." Toph was already rubbing her flabby gut, eager to have it feel full for a fleeting second or two.

"And for you?" The waiter turned to Katara for a smile.
"Nothing for me, please." Katara daintily waved her hand. "...Just a fifty egg omelet."
"Oh, of course!
"....with sausage."
"Will that be all?"
"Yup!" Katara nodded. "That's it, just that and like, a brick of chocolate if you have it."
"P-pardon me?"
"Well, you guys serve chocolate right? Just a tiny brick-like sliver please."
"....I'm sure that can be arranged, I guess..." the manager said, not wanting to offend his gluttonous guests. "Well, I'll just bring your orders up to the kitchen..."

"Hold it!" Toph held out a hand in the manager's general direction. "Listening to her order worked up my appetite, bring out a bunch of cowhippo steaks too."
"Steaks? At this hour? I'm sure that can be arranged but how many should I bring?"
"Whatever you can manage." Toph flatly replied.
"But we have a whole team of chefs, that much steak would feed the entire restaruant! It'll be too much!"
Toph snorted in laughter. "Bahahahaha!"
"So how many did you say you wanted?" The manager put a hand to his face in exasperation.
Katara sighed. "She's not kidding...bring them all out.....if she doesn't finish them all, I will...." Her voice dripped with disappointment at herself. Katara leaned her head into her hand, propping it up over the table.
