Toph gestured to the gentleman working behind the counter, and another elephant koi was slid into the makeshift fat friar that Toph had helped the restaurant build. This one would be all for Suki; if she wasn’t sporting enough blubber to make her immune to one of Ty Lee’s over-the-top poking sprees before Katara got in the way, all of Toph’s hard work would have been for naught. And if Suki and Ty Lee stayed skinny, Toph might be forced to do the unthinkable and try and drop a few pounds! Toph ran her fingers down her midriff, proud to feel that her belly button was poking out from underneath her once extremely oversized green shirt. Not the artificial bulge that came with overeating; this was the real deal, genuine fat that shook floorboards and halted conversations. In fact, since Toph left Ba Sing Se, not a single person had called her “little girl”! On top of how fun eating had become and the impossibility of keeping up with basic hygiene, Toph was convinced this was the life, and she intended to keep herself and her friends on the path to gluttony, even if they didn’t see the perks of the deal right away.

"You’re seriously picking up the tab for all of this, Toph?” Suki, now without her armor and makeup, was eyeballing the frying fish and licking her lips. She had woken up in a bit of a daze, and while she wanted to find Ty Lee to make it clear that she would have be once again treated like one of the ten-year-old trainee Kiyoshi warrior girls for her behavior, she wanted something to fill her stomach even more. She had dashed out for a bite to eat, and found herself staying for more than a snack. Toph had arrived a few minutes later, riding a small wave of dynamically bended earth. By then,Suki had eaten a three course meal, complete with dessert, to her great satisfaction. However, Toph insisted that she stick around the restaurant for a lfew more minutes while Katara searched for Ty Lee. As Toph went behind the counter, threw money at the employees, and began creating an oil-frying device with her metal-bending, Suki found herself getting a little peckish again. Fast forward and hour, and she was still going strong!

“So...don’t take this the wrong way Toph, but you’ve put on a little weight since I last saw you...” Suki, unlike Toph, took the time to cut into her fish with a knife before eating it. Toph had hopped onto the stool next to her, grunting as she reached over her stomach to get at the next hunk of fried fish. Suki finished another few bites, and continued speaking. “Mphg. That’s good. So there’s no chance I’m going to go through the same thing you are if I binge for a bit? Katara’s really out looking for Ty Lee, and she’s going to fix me up? The situation didn't look good, from what I last remember...”

“Yeah,don't sweat it! I mean, you might as well feel good while we track her down, if you don’t eat you’ll feel awful! I'm payin', so eat as much as you can handle!” Toph belched, spraying flecks of fish onto her stomach, which was squished up into the counter. Thankfully the stool she was sitting on was made of metal; its small diameter still made her fleshy rear end uncomfortable, however.

Suki watched her friend devour yet more food, and knew that Toph clearly didn’t care if Ty Lee wasn’t found. However, something kept her rooted to her stool. The more fish she stuffed into her sleek frame, the better she felt. Paradoxically, now that she had picked up her eating pace, she found that she felt less full. “Well...when I’m done eating I’m going to try and find her myself...she’s technically my responsibility....but for now, I can really use another one of these guys!” Suki held up a few fish bones, stripped clean. “This kind of stuff is terrible for my complexion, but what the heck!”

Toph smiled, her second chin quivering a bit as she began to lick her fingers clean. Suki wouldn’t take long at all to develop. That fact, on top of the way she left Katara, reassured the flabby earthbender.



Katara heaved herself through the village of Kyoshi Island, sweat darkening her robes under her arms, below her neck, around her waist, down her back, and just around the area where her rear end’s flab began to smush together. Despite taking long, nourishing gulps of air, Katara could barely catch her breath as she searched every inn and restaurant she could find for the missing Ty Lee. Kyoshi Island was by no means big, but a girl with her body was in no condition to run around town looking for an acrobat with a sweet tooth, especially when it was getting annoying to squeeze into single-frame doorways. As the pear-shaped waterbender labored down the main road, Katara realized she was leaving an invisible trail of noxious gas wherever she went, her body more used to flatulence than exercise. Her face reddened as she noticed plenty of townspeople staring at her, watching her rather impotent progress through the town. All the while, Katara pictured Toph bending her way into town with no physical exertion whatsoever, headed to fatten up Suki, and Ty Lee indulging in pastry after pastry, her perfectly thin body beginning to soften...
