The leaves from the trees hung low, making navigation on the island almost like walking in a full closet filled with green clothes.
"I can't see a darn thing" complained Gomamon as he waddled along the ground.
"I agree" replied Agumon. "I think a little pepper breath might help with that."
Gabumon shook his head in disapproval saying, "if you do that the whole island might burn down."
"That doesn't sound too bad" replied Agumon.
"With us burning down with it" Gabumon added before getting fed up and started cutting down the leaves in their path with his claws.
Unfortunately for the three exploring digimon, just the act of walking through the forest makes enough noise to cover up the sound of whining motors caused by the approach of the attacker. This, along with the lack of visibility, makes anyone or any thing virtually invisible to our trio of digimon.
Gabumon thought he heard one of his companions say something and, while still looking forward, asked "did you say something?"
"I didn't say anything" Agumon said, "did you say something Gomamon?" There was a following pause of silence before Agumon asked again "Gomamon, did you say something?" Unfortunately all he got in response was another cold silence.
Agumon turned around to find that no one was behind him. In worry Agumon said "Gabumon, Gomamon is missing!" before turning back towards Gabumon. Gabumon was gone though and before Agumon's heart even began to pound in fear he was blindfolded, gagged, and forcefully yanked into the brush. By the time the orange dino even thought about struggling he felt being hogtied by some kind of restraint. After a few minuets of struggling against his captors, Agumon got tired and stopped, though he knew that he was moving by the feeling of leaves and branches brush by him and that his friends near by because of their moaning.
It was a few minuets before Agumon's blindfold was yanked off and he was able to see both his friends and his captors. They were all hogtied and gagged with him in what looked like a hut constructed by all sorts of vegetation. Agumon tried to use his pepper breath to burn the cloth he was gagged with but only burned his mouth slightly because as an extra precaution his muzzle was tied closed.
When the door creaked open all three digimon looked toward the entrance to discover the identity of their captor.
