The snake decided it was going to release him and attempt to turn him into a slave. Perhaps he could get Spyro to lure the black dragon to the snake so it wouldn't miss out on a meal after all.

After a few minutes of pushing and coughing, Spyro found himself trapped in the snake's den, covered in drool. His eyes remained frozen in place, looking as if he had just seen a ghost. The snake looked into his eyes and worked his magic. "Hello dragon....what is your name?" he asked, hovering his head in front of Spyro.

The dragon began to feel...strange...like this snake was doing something to him. "Spyro..." he said softly.

"Well, Spyro. There is a reason why I let you go...you are going to serve me....you will do as I ask, and you will call me Master." the snake continued.

Spyro nodded softly, his fearful face slowly fading. "Yes...Master.." Spyro said, almost hypnotized by the snake's eyes.

"Good boy...now....for your first act as my slave..."
