Her face then looked down at Felix in Fakira's closed hand with a sincerely apologetic face. "I'm sorry, but I can't take you to the fairy kingdom. Going to a land where I can be shrunk and eaten doesn't sound like a good place to me," Fiona informed him, emphasizing the "I". Fiona was too frightened by a place where she could become the prey. She had been a giant predator all her life and knew what could happen to humans, which was why she sympathized with them so much, as well as the fact that she was raised by humans. This showed how little Fiona knew about fairies, however. Giants were in fact safe around most fairies, because they judged people by their normal size, and if one's normal size was a giant, then they were a person in the eyes of fairies. That is unless they encounter a fairy that viewed everything as prey, they seriously upset a fairy, or they encounter a playful fairy that wants to shrink them. Even though playful fairies could see a shrunken giant person as still a person, they might be tempted to see them as a toy, pet, or prey. So, Fiona was safe around fairies, but then again, she thought herself as a human more than a naga and if a predator ate humans, she felt they were dangerous creatures.
Fiona noticed the disappointed faces and added, "But I think I know someone that would help you."
Most of the travelers' faces lit up upon hearing this information. "You know someone else that might help us, and the 'person' doesn't eat humans?" Solita questioned in a little disbelief.
"He would never eat a human because he is a human," Fiona replied.
"Human? How could he be much help? This is a dangerous task," Fakira said. Fakira didn't want to sound like humans were worthless, but she had to admit that a human guide would be dangerous for the human, even if they could try their best to protect him like they were doing for Felix and Ted.
"He's very skilled, "Fiona defended, "He knows this world like the back of his hand. He's been everywhere in this place and knows about everything. He even created the map of Felarya, well, at least the best map of Felarya. It even has pictures of the top predators and where their territories are. They have red circles around them, and he also has pictures of people with blue circles around them and where they could be found. The blue circles are the human sized people and the giant predators who would help humans and not bring harm to them. There are others like me out there that would help protect humans, such as Jade.
"You seem to have high regard for this human," Fakira noted.
"Yes, he and his family helped me during a dark time. I owe a lot to them," Fiona said, "They even put my picture in a blue circle on their map. I just wish he would allow copies to be sold in every market. Maybe then I would get to met more people and help them. You could probably imagine how lonely it gets here."
"I wish we would have had that map as soon as we came here," Felix stated, "Then we would have searched for you first."
Fiona's cheeks turned red form Felix's words, well, every part of her cheeks except for the brown freckles. Fakira was slightly jealous by Felix's compliment towards Fiona. As she examined Fiona, she noticed that Fiona was much older and had the same kind of body as Solita, age wise, and Fiona was three feet taller than Fakira. Fiona had a cute yet beautiful face like hers. Fiona was also naked, showing off more developed breasts and her vagina. Fakira was slightly used to this, because she remembered that almost all Felaryan predators were naked. This was because most didn't have size changing abilities and couldn't find clothes that fit them. So, they've just accepted their nudity. Even some fairies stayed naked in order to attract the opposite sex of a human sized prey. Only those giant predators that had no size changing abilities that were extremely self conscious of their nudity insisted on trying to find something to use as clothing. Fakira could tell that it was Ted and Felix's first time seeing a nude female, because they kept glancing at Fiona's breasts every so often.
"So, can you take us to this human?" Fakira asked.
"I can so you the way out of the Bulvon Forest, but that's as far as I will go," Fiona told them. Fiona didn't say that she was afraid of leaving the Bulvon Forest, but she didn't have to. The others could see it in her eyes. "I'll lead you to the river and take you to the edge of the Bulvon forest," Fiona continued, "Then, all you'd need to do is follow the river and you'll find his home. I've never been there, but that's the directions he gave me if I ever needed his help."
"Can we start traveling there now?" Fakira asked, ready to get going again.
"How about we have lunch first," Fiona insisted, "Are you four hungry? I know I am."
"I guess that's okay," Fakira hesitantly agreed. Fakira looked down at Felix and asked, "Are you hungry?" Felix nodded.
Fakira looked at Ted and Solita. Ted nodded, but Solita looked at Fiona suspiciously. Solita had always had trust issues, ever since her parents had died. She still didn't trust the Felaryan naga. It's not Solita's fault that she has an untrusting personality. She lived in a different world from Fakira. She lived in a world were she was the small person and there were many large creatures that would like to eat her or harm her. She had to be suspicious to survive this world. Luckily, once a person was deemed trustworthy to Solita, they were forever trustworthy in her eyes. Fiona still hadn't passed the test yet. Solita eventually nodded her head since everyone else had agreed with Fiona.
"Great!" Fiona cheered like a giddy child, "I'll go hunt for some food. Would anyone like to join me?"
"I'll join you," Fakira offered. She then turned to Solita and asked, "You don't mind staying here with Ted and Felix while I hunt, right?"
"I don't mind," Solita replied as Fakira handed Felix to her open hand. Solita was actually glad Fakira would go with Fiona, because if the naga tried something on the hunt, Fakira would be able to shrink her. Plus, if the naga was truly untrustworthy and had some dangerous predator in her home, waiting for them, Solita would keep an eye out for it. She would not let anything happen to Felix and especially Ted.
"We'll be back with fruits and animals," Fiona informed them.
"We might not need as much food as you think, because I can grow food and dead animals much easier than living things," Fakira said.
"That's great!" Fiona exclaimed before heading through the canopy and motioning for Fakira to follow. Solita entered the tree through the hole at canopy level. Where will this story go next? Your choices are below...
