Felix looked up at Cillia suspiciously as he asked, "Cillia, why were you looking at me like that?"

"What do you mean?" Cillia asked trying to keep her composure. "He knows! He knows!" Cillia panicked in her mind.

"It didn't seem like you were looking at me like that because I was cute. You've given me that face often, and that look was nothing like that," Felix told her. Felix examined her expression. She seemed to be getting more worried and nervous. It was as if she was trying to hide something, but was getting closer to find out the truth. "Is there something you don't want to tell me?" Felix asked.

"N-no," Cillia lied even though she knew he would see through such a lie. She was becoming more and more obvious that she was hiding something.

Felix thought about the look she had given him after she finished her dinner. He had seen that look before, but he couldn't remember where or when she did it. Felix thought very carefully, and as the silence continued, he noticed Cillia becoming more uncomfortable. She fidgeted and bit her bottom lip. Then Felix remembered. Cillia had never given him that look before, but she had given that look towards the animals he feed her. She had been looking at him with a hungry expression as if she wanted to eat him.

Felix looked up at Cillia with shock clear in his face. "Were you thinking of eating me, Cillia?" Felix questioned.

"No, I wasn't," Cillia answered quickly as she shook her head. Her beautiful, big eyes were forming tears.

"You were thinking about eating me," Felix gasped in realization. Felix tried to back away, but quickly realized he was in the palm of her hand and he had no where to go.

"Felix, I..." Cillia tried to think of a lie to say, but another lie would just make the situation worse.

"Tell me the truth, Cillia. Did you really think about eating me?" Felix asked.

Cillia knew she had to tell Felix the truth now. She had no idea how he would react to the truth, but she had to tell him. "Yes," Cillia answered with teary eyes, "I did think about eating you, but it was only for a second."

"Why would you even think that?" Felix replied in horror.

"My mother told me that when something is swallowable, it is prey and I can eat it, even if it is sentient. It's not a person," Cillia explained, tears still falling, "You're small enough for me to swallow now. Mother told me what it was like to eat a human. She described how good it was had have tasty and pleasurable swallowing a human whole could be. I really badly want to try it. You were in my hand as I thought about this."

"You could have eaten me, despite everything I've done for you, despite the fact I treat you like a sister?" Felix said, clearly upset.

"But I didn't eat you," Cillia argued, "I can't possibly eat you, Felix. I thought about everything you've done for me. I thought about that day I hurt myself with the chains and you were there for me. You're always there for me when I need you. I will never hurt you. I resisted the urge, because you're my brother."

Felix looked away to think about what had just happened. Cillia continued to stare down at Felix, waiting for his judgment with watery eyes. "What if he's mad at me forever, now? What if he hates me for thinking about eating him? I don't want to lose him. Felix is my brother. If he thinks I'm some terrible monster, then I don't know what I'd do," Cillia thought to herself. She was worried Felix would hate her and see her as a monster. She was worried that he wouldn't want to be her brother anymore and leave her. Then she would be alone again.

"Please, brother," Cillia pleaded as she cried, "Don't hate me. I don't want to lose you. I promise that I'll never think about eating you ever again. You're still safe with me, I promise. Please, stay my brother."

Felix looked back up at Cillia. It was clear from her crying that she was truly sorry for what she had done, and if she was truly sorry, then Felix would be safe with her. She wouldn't ever think of eating him ever again because she'll know how mad he would get and would worry that he would leave her. Besides, even though she had the urge to eat him, she stopped herself because she remembered everything he had done for her. She truly sees Felix as a brother.

What should he do?
