You recognize the rather pervy smile your Veemon was giving toward the direction of the two femme fatales headed your way. The pervy smile is burned into your memory... he'd always ALWAYS make this face whenever an attractive digimon of the female variety was within sight. You call it the 'DAYUMN' smile. Whether or not it's considered a Veemon's pre-requisite for mating remains a mystery you most likely dont wanna solve!
Not that you could blame him. After all, from what you heard, Gatomon's the female heroine of the group of Digidestined. Who wouldnt root for the alpha-female? You already are!

But by the time you catch a glimpse of Kari's bright shining serene face smiling your way (...er... as well as the mask of Nefertimon smiling your way, too!) you notice the oddness of the direction Veemon was smiling at. He seemed to be turned AWAY from the lovely Sphinx. If anything, it looks like he's smiling toward the Sphinx rider!
'No...' you refuse to believe it, 'no, cant be.'

"Um... excuse me!" Kari called out to you. Her voice was beyond Heavenly. Sounded perfect coming from such a Heavenly body!

"Well, hello there little lady!" Veemon replied in such an uppity suave tone!
You ignored him and replied to her, "Yes, how can we help you?"
"Uh, you wouldnt happen to be [Sean] Rosewood, would you?" she knows your name! THE Kari Kamiya knows your name!!!

"Yes, that's him!" Veemon answered before you could open your mouth, "and I am his trusty loyal bestest best friend and partner, Veemon!"
You kept ignoring him and focused more on Kari... despite the stare on Nefertimon pointed toward you.

"Oh! Good! Tai told me about you," Kari announced, "I'm Kari. Tai's sister."
"Tai's sister, eh?" you pretended to be surprised to hear that, "it's nice to finally meet you!"
"Likewise," said Nefertimon who suddenly appearly only a foot or so in front of you! You almost jumped in surprise of how quick she was! She is indeed Kari's digimon!

"Listen, I know we just met and my bro keeps telling me nothing but bad stuff about you..." BAD STUFF?! WHAT KIND OF BAD STUFF?! "but we're kinda new to this town and we're a little lost. Since you seem to know around this place better than we do, perhaps you could help us out?"

"We would be more than happy to help you and your partner out, Ms. Kamiya," while you were in the middle of your monologue, Veemon already took the initiative on your girl! You gritted your teeth as he tried to sound heroic!

"We would really appreciate your help, [Sean]," Nefertimon spoke as if YOU sounded heroic! This is getting a little too weird!
"Uh...." you sweated bullets as you stepped a little back from Kari's intrigued partner, "so... um... w...where do you both live?"
"If I remember correctly, it's 1486 Morrison Lane." Jackpot!
"What a coi-"
"WHAT A COINCIDENCE!" Veemon took the words right out of your mouth! "that's actually very close to where we live. 1483 Morrison Lane!"

"Wow," Nefertimon edged closer to you as if YOU said it! "what a small world." Damnit, why?!

"My assistant and I will be your guides," Veemon called you his 'assistant'! "and since it's such a beautiful starlit night, how's about we go digi-back riding?"
"I second that idea!" you agreed with Veemon.
"And how's about we make it interesting? We'll swap tamers! See how one fares riding the other?"
"I DONT SECOND THAT IDEA ANYMORE!" you withdrew your agreement, but too late!
"Heh! Me... riding an evolved Veemon? Not even Davis let me do that!" Crap, Kari sounds interested.
"You wouldnt happen to have allergies, do you [Sean]?" and so does her digimon!

Damnit, why is Veemon falling for YOUR crush?! ...Well, it's not like you can blame him, but geez! NOW he decides to go for someone outside his own kind?! And less said about Nefertimon...
You cant take this! You need to put a stop to this before BAD things occur from it!

"Um... you know what?" you spoke up, "may I have a word with my digimon for a moment?"
"Why? What's wrong?" Kari asked.
"Just a... it's just a little something him and I havent cleared up yet," you replied, "Vee? Over here."
"Cant it wait until after the ride?"
"Nope!" you grab him and drag him away from Kari! You got pretty from her and her digimon so you could whisper your aggression to the blue pervy lizard! Just to be safe, you did it in your native language, hoping the others werent bilingual.

"/What the HELL do you think youre doing?!/" you whispered, "/tell me youre not trying to hijack my girl!/"
"/YOUR girl?!/" he snapped back at you in the same language, "/Do you see a 'Property of [Sean] Rosewood' logo stamped on her forehead?!/" Is this scaley freak serious?!
"/Uh... dude! She is a HUMAN!/" you try to talk some sense into him, "/you are outside her SPECIES./"
Veemon just shrugged his arms, "/So? She's cute! And being cute is ALL that matters to ME!/" You groaned hard. Sadly, he wasnt gonna discriminate. "/Besides... youre a human too and it doesnt stop HER digimon from checking you out!/" Geez, even he noticed that!

You opened your mouth about to say something, but you couldnt come up with something to say in time!
"/Besides/," Veemon continued, "/You have no idea how lucky you are, do ya?/" /Lucky/, he says?! This oughta be good!
"/L...Lucky?/"
"/Dude... the guys back at the Digital World DROOL over Gatomon! They would KILL to be your shoes right now! Some even did! C'mon... take the bull by the horns!/"
You looked back over at Nefertimon, still staring your way... you dont remember seeing blush imprints on her mask!
"/B...b...but.../"

"/One word.../" Veemon smiled a sly grin, "/....ANGEWOMON!/"
