Josh lays bruised and beaten in the depths of his mothers smelly pump, trying to breath fresh air but only managing to draw in more of her foot smell. He then sees her giant fingers enter the shoe, each massive, painted nail enough to crush him. He is both scared and relieved. Scared because of the sheer size and menace of his mothers hand but relieved that he may soon be found.

The giant fingers begin to feel around close to him and Josh waits, holding his breath as they eventually brush against him. Looking out of the shoe he can see her giant blue eye in the distance, huge like a sun. As the finger brushes him it is alerted to his presence, and Josh continues to hold his breath as the huge digits bear down onto him, gripping him tightly in their grasp, he is smushed into the pad of her thumb and forefinger. His body is then pulled from the shoe with absolute ease.

Josh feels himself lifted from the shoe prison and, from within the grasp of the giant fingers, he can see his mothrs enourmous face come into view above. She has him squeezed so tight he can barely breath.

'HMM, FUNNY LOOKING PEBBLE.' Josh hears her say, her voice like booming thunder. 'BUT I DID ENJOY PLAYING WITH YOU BETWEEN MY TOES. VERY RELAXING.' He can't believe what she is saying - his hopes were dashed. She didn't recognise him at all, she merely thought he was a pebble, something to play with between her toes to pass the time. 'WELL, I'VE GOT TO GO TO THE GYM NOW, BUT IT MIGHT BE FUN TO GO HAVING YOU BETWEEN MY TOES. THEY REALLY ENJOY SCRUNCHING ON THINGS.'

Josh then feel himself lowered down to the ground. No, not to the ground, towards an impossibly big, tan object. It was her foot! He tries to let out a scream as she wedges his tiny body between her second and third toes, scrunching him tightly. He looks up, high into the heavens to see her smiling face as she wiggles her mighty toes, spreading their scent onto him.
'MAKE SURE YOU KEEP MY TOES COMFY.' She says before slipping on a white sweat sock, cutting off his light. Complete darkness overtakes him as she puts on her running shoe. Pray as Josh might, she doesn't let him free. Instead he remains trapped, repeatedly squeezed between her giant stinky toes as she works out, building the smell and heat around him to unimginable levels. Josh knows that drowning in her footsweat is a very real possibility. He can think of only one thing to do - he bites down onto the skin of her toe as hard as he can, tasting the salty sweat. Again and again he bites, hoping she feels it.
