Who knows what kind of people Josh would encounter in the outside. It was better if he stayed with his mom, who was apparently going to bed. "Wait up, mom!" Josh follows her into her bedroom. It was really dark. Diane changed into her pajamas, then hopped into bed. Josh would have climbed up there, But he didn't have much strength to lift a finger! He decided to sleep. He found one of Diane's slippers. It had a funky smell, but it wasn't worse then her actual feet! Josh was going to sleep near the edge, in case of an emergency. He dozed off, awaiting the next day.

When Josh awoke, the first thing he saw was a humongous foot, ready for landing. He didn't have any time to roll out, since her foot was two feet away.
