Mainly because he was bloody and injured from being shrunken and rubbed across her lips. His first thought that clicked after narrowly dodging her foot was to find a place to stay until he could recuperate, seeing as he can now be spotted by his teacher, or now former teacher, at any moment.
He didn't quite know what to do. He could at least get out of the way, meaning he'd have to risk injuring himself further, considering his wounds, in order to later save his life. He decided to look around and see his surroundings first. He had found his way into the living room, which was a good start to find a place to rest.
He had two options. He could rest in Joanne's bedroom, where hiding under her bed could provide shelter. This had risks, seeing as how she could accidentally squish him during the trip, or just from moving in a wrong enough manner. This seemed decent enough for consideration, as the risk was fairly low.
His second option was to hide in a closet or other room in the house. This came with another share of risks. Traveling could end him, or if he gets intercepted by Joanne or any guests visiting at any time. Also, he may have difficulty hiding safely enough for comfort, but with no risk is no reward, right?
He thought a few moments and made a decision... Where will this story go next? Your choices are below...
