This choice: Is it OK to do a poem? | Go Back Chapter 4: Is it OK to do a poem? (ID #726106) an addition by: Steve Ellen ![View friction's Portfolio. [Offline / Private]](http://images.Writing.Com/imgs/writing.com/writers/costumicons/ps-icon-regular-40.gif) More by this author When the cold winds of winter blow
And from the sky there falls some snow
Then by the fireplace I will retire
And light some logs into a fire
But now is not the winter time
So I'll have to use a different rhyme
Something that will rhyme with summer
Like my big expensive Hummer.
It's tires are fat and like to roll
Over logs and rocks and folks that stroll
Get out of my way, you lazy talkers!
I'm a rider and I hate walkers!
No, no, my Hummer doesn't make me mean
Except when I have to wash it clean
After it gets messed and muddy
Jumping mud flats with my buddy.
One day soon he will buy a Jeep
And then we two will gaily leap
Over soggy bogs and mushy swamps
In our macho outdoor mud-soaked romps.
