Jake was feeling pretty good. He had a great day at practice and he was feeling pretty pumped up for the game next weekend. He was in tip top physical condition, and he knew that they were going to slaughter the other guys easy. At the moment he was at the mall, cruising and occasionally flexing for anyone who looked interested in seeing the merchandise: him.

As he was walking, he caught sight of a rather fat man struggling to carry a very full looking bag. The fat man was red faced with balding hair, wearing a pinstripe shirt that made his swollen beer gut look even more huge. Even using both hands, the fat guy struggled to move and only took one step at a time before finally he dropped the bag, bending over and gasping for breath.

Feeling like showing off, Jake walked up to the man. "Hey fatty, what's wrong? Out of breath already?"

The fat man glared at Jake. "Leave...huff....me...alone....huff." He wheezed.

Still feeling mean, Jake grabbed the bag and lifted it up easily. "What, don't tell me you're having trouble carrying this thing around? It's so fuckin' light! You should be able to carry this easy since you carry that huge butt of yours around everyday."

"I'm warning you..." The man said sternly, regaining his second wind.

"Why don't you spend more time in the gym and work that lardass of yours off instead of in the fridge like a real man?" Jake flexed his arm, making his sizable bicep pop out."

"That's it, I've had just enough of you!" The man stood up straight, his eyes burning so angrily that for a moment Jake thought they were actually as red as his face. "I've tried to be nice, but you finally pushed me too far! You think just because you're bigger that you're better than everyone? Well let's see how much more of it you can handle!" The man then spoke some sort of gibberish and waved his hands in the air. Jake thought the guy had lost it and tried to leave, but he found his feet stuck to the floor!

The man continued to chant and wave, then he pressed his hand against Jake's chest. Jake felt a kind of shock run through his body when the man touched him, followed by a full body 'pins and needles' feeling.

"Bigger!" The man said, then took his hand off. "You'll rue the day you ever made fun of Rhys, the wizard!" He told Jake, then grabbing his bag out of Jake's grasp, the man walked off, somehow carrying the bag with ease now.

After a full 30 seconds passed by, Jake finally regained his movement. Shaking his head, he tried to make sense of what had happened. When he came up with nothing, he decided to head home for the day, a bit sour that his good day was ruined.

Back at home, Jake had an ordinary dinner with his family, did his homework and then went to sleep. The last thing on his mind, however, was the word the man used.

"Bigger..." Jake said out loud just before he fell asleep, still confused why the man would say that. The next morning however, Jake would find out that when the man said "Bigger," he was referring to...
