About This Interactive |
The owner of this Interactive Story begins with this information and guidance:
Rule of the Game
0) All work must be that of the poster, per WDC rules.
1) Post one poem in English language Haiku form, meaning three lines, five syllables, seven syllables, five syllables, based upon the prompt.
2) Give a short prompt of what subject you would like the next poet to write for each availables choice. Do not end a thread, which is another way to say, always give multiple choices!
3) Extra kudos for making the new prompts somehow relate to your poem. Someday I hope to have GPs I can give away for good poems or well thought out prompts.
4) I have made this '13+' to allow moderately steamy subject matter.
My interpretation of '13+' is , we know why boys and girls are interested in each other, but we don't describe it in detail. We are aware of certain sexual characteristics but we don't say anything graphic about them. I reserve the right to adhere to this definition as my standard when, if I think something is too much for this level, I delete or revise it.
5) No general subject is given. Haiku is traditionally used to describe moments in life or nature. However, I will accept Romantic, Philosophic or Humorous and probably anything else, except: Send your politics or diatribes against whatever group to some other recipient. Haiku is ultimately about peace. Religion is fine as long as it is about spirituality, not about sneering at, pitying, or looking down on those who don't believe as you do. I will classify these as 'diatribes against whatever group.'
