"I will go along with it, as long as you don't try and do any lovey dovey kissy crap" Alexis said making a fist.
"Alright, we just need to get to the nearest furdresser" Carmine said to her, quickly slapping the hand of a pickpocket who quickly scurried off.
The nearest furdresser wasn't the most manly of places but it had to do. The sign had just as many lights as some of the medium range casinos, though the music was probably a bit louder and the paintjob more garish. At the counter stood a male peacock, his tailfeathers spread out to give him a portable backdrop.
"WELCOME TO PERFECT TRENDS" the peacock anounced, his gay lisp strongly prominant, "I'M FLAIR, HOW MAY I HELP YOU!"
"Maybe some ear plugs" Carmine mumbled before ordering, "Alexis and I would like to have our fur color changed."
"Oh my, a full package, what would you like my dears" Flair said, his eyes fluttering with possabilities, "I feel that the strong man might want a flame job, those are ALL the rage today, and I can feel the beast inside this young lady all the way from here, so how about a bit of a tribal design."
"I was thinking of Panther Black" Carmine said, Flair's enthusiasm quickly deflating, "and Alexis is going to have the Wild Wolf Grey."
"Your cramping my style dears, why go for something so drab" the peacock asked as he rested his head in his feathery hands, "you will stick out like a MonJuar suit in a Alfa Sinclair fashion show."
"Wha?" Carmine said completly lost.
"We will easily be noticed because we will not blend in" Alexis said pointing to the croud, all of which were either wearing clothes that would drain even Carmine's bag of gold on the first payment, or were painted in many un natural colors with elaborate styles.
"Oh" Carmine realised, "then how about you give us our requested colors, and then add in the flames and tribal designs?"
"EXELENT!" cried Flair, snapping his fingers as two atractive tropical birds lead the two to the back where other creatures were getting their fur cut or colored.

After two hours Carmine's bag of gold was a bit lighter and both of them were painted up like a cheap import car.
"I must admit, I don't look that bad" Alexis said admiring the plethora of tribal designs and patterns that were colored into her fur.
"Your not the one painted up like an old hovercraft" Carmine said looking at his flame job, "though, I do feel a little faster. Maybe that whole 'flames makes everything faster' thing is true?"
"Whatever you say, but I suggest we start searching for Rick before he cashes in and leaves" Alexis said in a slight hurry. The fox, now wolf, girl sniffed around, trying to pick up on Rick's tracks and sent, and sure enough they find themselves in front of...
