Carmine was ignoring what the two women were talking about. All he did was keep his eyes on Rick, his anger slowly growing for the man each time Rick won. Just as Rick drew another card, Carmine finally seemed to snap. Why was he just sitting there letting this man cheating him out of his money, he shot a man at a party, the man's own party actually.

"I don't care if Zena is here, I've killed people in front of mayors, and probably killed a mayor or two" Carmine thought, "the man is just a vey lucky cheat who knows a few good tricks." Carmine then thought of a brilliant scheme to get the man. If he flipped the table quick enough he could use it as a distraction and then shoot at Carmine through the table with his superior gun. It was perfect, brilliant, unbeatable.

Carmine quickly grabbed the lip of the table and overturned it, his other hand reaching for the pistol. He quickly took two shots into the table at Rick's general direction. Alexis looked surprised, her tail fur suddenly becoming frazzled, and Zena didn't seem to flinch personally wondering the fate of Rick.

There was another gunshot, Carmine yelping as he began hopping on one foot while he held on to his bleeding leg.

"I must say, that was a dirty trick" Rick was heard behind the table. Alexis looked over to see that the human was on his back sitting in the overturned chair with his two legs sticking up in the air. The fox growled seeing that the man fell back in his own chair in order to dodge the incomming bullets, and was able to essentailly shoot at one of Carmine's legs, even if he just grazed it.
